Lamek Industrial Corp

Used Lamek Industrial Corp to develop several products for manufacturing; used their expertise to machine highly precision castings for our robotic leg. Sometimes their lead-times are longer and their pricing is higher, but they have a great track record with producing high quality products, which out ways the delivery. Furthermore, we rely on their Quality Department for our FAI, certs, and COCs and they are top notch. Thus we do not have to outsource for inspection needs. They are a great vendor to work with, always willing to go the extra distance and very responsive when there are issues with any part(s) being fabricated/delivered.

Needs to improve: One drawback with Lamek Industrial Corp is the lead-times with regards to quotes, sometimes the lead-time can be longer - could be due to being more thorough, etc... Sometimes when they are machining a new part the delivery times can slip due to unfamiliarity with the part, once they have made it a few times it is more seamless

My firm utilizes Lamek for machining to create part castings in our production process. Their team of machinists have quite a bit of industry knowledge and give good advice to resolve issues. High attention to detail and delivery was made on time. There pricing however leaves much to be desired, as for what they charge I actually deliver for whats charged, there is a bit of a gap. If they improved pricing they could be a great vendor. Customer service is top notch and accessible. Overall we were decently satisfied.

Needs to improve: For me i can't say its their weakness but its about their delivery and all i can say it's not that good either.

Lamek has done machining to create part castings. Very detail oriented and delivers on time. Very professional staff. The machinists know their stuff and can recommend cheaper alternatives in order to save time and material. This however does come at a price. You get what you pay for as they say. Pricing could be better but all in all we have been very happy with the work that has been performed. Customer service provides updates on job status so there are never any surprises.
