We have been using Little Machine Shop as a vendor for custom fabrication jobs for automotive parts. LMS have been in the machining industry for years and have plenty of experience to back up with. We send them CAD drawings and they machine parts, its that simple. They have on multiple times made suggestions on how to improve a design and we have been so far happy with the results. Their customer service is excellent and they are more then willing to spend the time with you to answer questions and give explanations. Their pricing is very competitive for the quality of work. Lead times are quick too. I definitely recommend them as a machining vendor and will continue to use them for years.

Overall, a great product and company. You have to know what it can do and what it can't do. Company has good support and replacement parts. Our machine is over 20 years old.

Strengths: We use a LittleMachineShop as a jack of all trades metal forming system. It is a pretty good press brake, punch, former and bender all in one. The great part about it is it does the work of 5 individual machines pretty well without taking up a whole shop's worth of space. It is relatively inexpensive compared to purchasing 5 individual components. Decent power for our 120 volt system. Works well up to 1/4 inch steel plate.

Needs to improve: It can't do everything. Limited throat capacity. Do to exceed rated specs.

When setting up a small prototyping lab, Little Machine shop is my first choice. They carry a wide selection of Small and Medium sized Machine tools, such as Mills, Lathes and CNC equipment. They also carry a wide selection of tooling to go with the equipment. Prices are competitive and delivery is fast.

LIttleMachineShop is a great resource when setting up a small prototyping machine shop. They have good equipment which fits well in the Startup environment, where cost is a consideration and you goals are to build some proof of concept devices or simple tooling, before sending your designs to an outside machine shop.

Our prototype shop uses a small 7x10 lathe. I bought quick release tool holder from LMS for it and it was actually very nice and worked great. We still use it years later.
