We are constantly ordering stuff from MSC on a regular basis. They carry everything from hardware to cleaning supplies they are sure to have whatever it is you may need. We have ordered various hand tools and adhesives from them for our assembly line needs. Shipping is quick and they always send you exactly what you ordered. If you do have a problem they have great customer service that will take care of you. If your in need of a dependable tool vendor them MSC is the way to go in my opinion.

We use use MSC as a vendor for fasteners, valves and connectors and connector pins. Their products are of such high quality that we want to find more uses for their products. Any time we need anything we go to them first and they typically will have it. The products we purchase are for our components we used for consumer electronics. They also have highly competitive pricing and reliable service. Their customer service representatives are very helpful and knowledgeable of their product to help completed an accurate order for the company. Highly recommended vendor.

MSC has a wide selection of products that any warehouse should utilize. They are a trusted vendor of ours and should be yours. Customer service was friendly and happy to assist with any of your needs. Products are durable and never worried about parts arriving late.

Strengths: MSC has been our go-to vendor if we needed power tools and misc supplies for our warehouse. They provide some of the best tools we've ever purchased and there have been many vendors. Customer service is always helpful in finding some of the parts that can't be found online. Ordering is fast and easy. Shipping is just as fast too!

We contracted MSC Industrial Direct Inc. for power tools to use in our assembly line of medical devices. They also offer a variety of other products that we will be looking into as well. For now we just use their power tools. They are great quality and very dependable. The customer service is great. They have been very responsive and offer additional insight when they can. Quality, quick turnaround and competitive pricing is what keeps us coming back. We're hoping to do more business with them in the near future.

Our company has used MSC Industrial Direct Inc. for many years for assistance on our assembly line were we produce many different medical devices. They have provided us with an excellent service and hand/power tools that have helped us improve our efficiency in our assembly line. Needs to improve: No weaknesses.

I recently needed a 3 jaw chuck for equipment I was building. I couldn't find the chuck I wanted with the mating arbor that I wanted to use. MSC had both, so I ordered from them.

Strengths: Product selection for industrial supply.

Needs to improve: I haven't seen much of a downside to MSC, I usually use other supply houses, becasue they offer a larger selection, but since I could find what I needed at the time, that the others couldn't provide, I will look at them more when I order industrial supplies.

I used to use the Rutland Tool on Brokaw road a fair amount as it was just down the street. The MSC take over hasn't changed my experience much as they still maintain a large catalog of tooling, much of which is shipped over from Reno, NV. That shipment often takes a day or two, so if I need something right away I am forced to look elsewhere.

We have been using their tools to help us assemble medical device. They provide wide selection and very easy to use. Their pricing is reasonable and we never had any issues. Good quality tools that will last for a long time. I recommend them because their tools makes our job easier and they are very helpful when you have question. They are on time to deliver your needs.

A large catalog of tools, raw materials, fasteners, etc.
They provide pretty quick delivery (probably quicker for NorCal than SoCal as i believe their hubs are located closer to NorCal). Similar in services as Grainger and McMaster.
They also have some local stores possibly in your area, so you may be able to pick up your orders there or maybe they may have it on-hand, although most likely you will have to order through the catalog.

msc is a good supplier since they carry a large inventory of industrial tools and materials. you can order large quantities and expect them to arrive within 1-2 days. i can count on msc sending me dozens of the same part versus local stores that normally carry less than half a dozen.

Strengths: We have used MSC Industrial Direct for their industrial Tools. The are a distributor industrial Tools. The tools we purchase are used throughout our company. They have a large selection industrial tools and their products are durable and reliable. The quality is very good. Their customer service reps. are very helpful and knowledgeable of their products. Quotes are accurate and price competitive. Delivery is on time.

We needed to replace several tools and equipment for our warehouse. MSC had some of the parts we needed and was priced very competitively. We called them when we had some questions and they answered all of them. Delivery was as expected and total price was within our budget. They were great to buy from so check them out.

We're a small assembly and source our tooling and component needs from MSC. They're a one stop shop for us which saves us time and allows us to focus on our core production needs. Their team has expert knowledge of the industry and are always attune to our needs. Quality products, accurate quotes and lead time. Will support and refer.

MSC carries a large inventory of all your industrial material and tools. They can be ordered in quantities of all sizes, big and small which is great when many places carry a limited supply. Although one of the problems i've encountered is that sometimes some of the products take a little longer to send out than most.

We order from Msc when we need more than a half dozen connectors or if we need that special tool that no one carries. Its not a long wait either. We usually get it in a few days

Strengths: Msc has a great catalog with lots and lots of tools and connectors. We order from them when we need a new tool or a couple dozen connectors. They are very good!!

MSC has a large inventory which makes it a great one stop shop. Pricing can be variable so I will shop around. When I do order, I get the materials usually the next morning.

Needs to improve: Since they own Enco and Rutland, it would be nice if they still offered you the lowest price of the 3 companies. They used to, but no longer.

We have ordered from their cataloge in the past. They provide your basic run of the mill type hand tools nothing too special. The pricing is descent but then again that all depends on what and how much your ordering. All in all they are an ok supplier of your basic manufacturing tools.

We have purchased hand tools and our in house machine shop equipment. The grinder and several various hand tools for the shop has recently been purchased. We do not have too many issues with them, so we do give them our business often.
