Mac Cal Manufacturing

Used Mac Cal to develop a several products for manufacturing, by using their expertise for sheetmetal/machining fabrication to produce highly precision fabricated parts. Sometimes their lead-times are longer and their pricing is higher, but they have a great track record with producing high quality products, which out ways the delivery. Furthermore, we rely on their Quality Department for our FAI, certs, and COCs and they are top notch. Thus we do not have to out source for inspection needs. They are a great vendor to work with, always willing to go the extra distance and very responsive when there are issues with any part(s) being fabricated/delivered.

Strengths: Competitive pricing, good quality, on time delivery, customer service orientated, supply certifications: FAI, Material certs, COCs

Needs to improve: One drawback with Mac Cal is the lead-times with regards to quotes, sometimes the lead-time can be longer - could be due to being more thorough, etc... Sometimes when they are machining/fabricating a new part the delivery times can slip due to unfamiliarity with the part, once they have made it a few times it is seamless
