Mangar - Medical Packaging

We got in touch with Mangar through a tradeshow last year in the west coast. we typically use a local medical device vendor in our area because are able to produce multiple items in addition to sterile barriers so it cuts our cost down but the quality of the lids are sub-par. We met with the Mangar rep at the trade show and were given a few pouches with sterile barriers to test out at our facility. the quality of the pouches excelled the current ones we were using. their lids include Tyvek or foil materials. they also offer special printing on the pouches but it is not complimentary. for the medical pouches, they also have them available in tyvek as well as foil, films. we have an automated fill operation system and Mangar is able to product pouches-on-a-roll to run through our automation. high quality, great products, on time delivery.

Strengths: various shapes and sizes available for sterile barrier trays are high quality. the company mainly produces sterile barriers for medical/pharmaceutical use so if that is what you are looking for, they are great at producing high quality and long lasting lids.

Needs to improve: none

We used Mangar as our supplier for both Tyvek pouches and Tyvek lids. Their sales representative were always very friendly and helpful. When we were having a huge issue with sealing of one of our trays, they took the time to help up problem solve what the issues could be. It wasn't with their product but was a problem with the "flatness" of the trays we were getting from another vendor.

They help us with what specifications we needed to provide to the tray vendor to ensure a great seal. Over many years of working with them, we never had a product return from the field where the pouch or lid had failed. We mainly used Gamma sterilization with our products so can't speak about other sterilization methods.

Strengths: Great service and a quality product.

They are always there to help you if you have questions or problem solve a issue.

Needs to improve: None that jump out at me

I have worked with Mangar for the supply of our packaging pouches and trays. They worked with us to deliver the best designed tray for our packaging accessories with our catheter. I have worked with them on clarifying our specifications and they were very responsive and knowledgeable. We've not had any issues with their components during packaging validation and their products have come consistently on time, however, there is a bit of leadtime to manage. Prices were a bit more expensive than competition, but at the time, the quality director insisted we use Mangar, to our pleasure.

Our experience with Mangar has been a positive one. Mangar has excellent customer service that is very helpful with our needs. Mangar has quality products for our medical manufacturing business and their products are delivered on time with professional packaging. We are very pleased with Mangar!

Strengths: Mangar has been a trusted vendor of ours for some time now. We have utilized their medical supplies packaging for our products for our vendors. Packaging such as medical pouches and envelopes are critical to the sterilized product we sell. Mangar products are trusted and can be relied upon for all medical manufacturers.

We manufacturer props for TV and movies. More recently we have found a small niche on theme parties and store displays. We emphasize on the finest details and offer products and details from all around. We have contracted Manger on some of the details on medication and medical devices. Since they are an experience medical packaging supplier they can offer realistic looking packaging for props and more recently novelty theme party supplies. Their quality of work is top notch and pricing is fair for what we are asking. Turn around is great.

We've used Mangar for their packaging services for a few of our product lines. They provide quality packaging that we have come to depend on to deliver our product free of shipping defects. This not only delights our customers, but also reduces the cost of having to replace products due to damage. Mangar's pricing is comparable to others in the industry. We choose to work with them for their quick turn time and great service. We will continue using them for our packaging needs.

A few years back I was at a startup with no formal packaging engineering group. Mangar worked very closely with us to develop a sterile pouch to ensure the product remained secure and sterile. The pouches were very high quality and we had no problems with transit and stability testing.

Strengths: Mangar makes high quality medical device packaging. They can make custom pouches, lids and mounting cards. They have a team of experts to design packaging for sterile medical devices to ensure the device is protected and remains sterile.

i’ve used mangar for many years at several different companies. their pouches are high quality and they deliver as promised. however, we’ve started moving our business elsewhere in an effort to save costs and not have to pay an expedite fee when we need pouches quicker than 4 weeks.

I have sourced many Tyvek/Pouches from Mangar over the course of several years. Their quality is good, and they will work with you to make pouches to your specifications (I don't think they have stock sizes, but could be wrong) but this all takes time. And long lead times can be a problem because there is no time for packaging design until it is too late...

Mangar's GM worked directly with me in identifying the proper pouch for my device. This is a good example of how Mangar will go out of their way to help.

Strengths: I have used pouches from Mangar for several years now. I find their pouches to be of very high quality. I have also reached out to them for advice on the appropriate pouch for my particular product. They were very helpful in this process.

Needs to improve: Long lead times

When working in a clean room environment with medical devices it is important products stay sterile throughout the entire process. Step 1 of production to Step N of delivery. To help in the later stages of the process we use Mangar Medical Packaging. These guys create such a fantastic product that's sterile and dependable that we can not say enough about them. Highly recommended.

Mangar is the main supplier for our Tyvek pouch. Most of my previous companies also used Tyvek pouch from Manga. Their sale personal are excellent to work with in term of finding the right size pouch or come up with the new pouch size specification. Overall they have great product and great service.

We order large quantities of pouches and trays from Mangar medical on a regular basis at work for packaging purposes related to our medical devices. We use alot of their pouches to store our tools and trays for placing powertools. Excellent quality supplies. Easy to use. Highly recommended to any other manufacturers. Great customer service

They provide us with sterilization pouches. We use their tyvek pouches for our medical supply packaging for our equipment that is being shipped out to our customers. They work great for sterilization tools and supply's that need to be packaged for safety concerns.

Mangar makes good pouches from a variety of materials. In a recent case their response time was a bit on the slow side. And the lead times for a custom pouch was even longer. If you have the time they are a good supplier.

we use MMP's plastic pouches to pre wrap our dialysis machines in before we package them away in our shipping boxes. they are very good quality and extremely durable as well they don't tear or stretch easily. these thing make our machines safe when being shipped.

Mangar makes up 1/2 of the traditional pouch supplier duo. Quality is usually equivalent between Mangar and Tolas, so it comes down to lead times. Plan ahead if you are going to use a Tyvek/poly pouch from either of this pair of pouch manufacturers.

We currently use their tyvek pouches for our medical supply packaging for our equipment that is being shipped out to our customers. They work great for sterilization tools and supply's that need to be packaged for safety concers.

Strengths: Medical grade tyvek pouches.

Needs to improve: All around good product. Never an issue with Tyvek they have great products.

They are a great company and have been for so many years. They make high quality pouches and give you what you want. however they are a bit pricey and costly if you want the product fast.
