Easy to use and good battery life.

Strengths: We had purchased a few of their portable Digital Force Gauge (Model: M5-100) through the years.
The devices are easy to use and battery life is long lasting. These units are sent out for calibration yearly based on the manufacturing specification and for some reason they are always out of tolerance. Our of out of tolerance ranges are all in the high ranges between Tension 80lbs. to 100 lbs. and Compression 80lbs. to 100lbs. Luckily, these ranges are out of our intended use but it causes us a lot of time processing paperwork to justify why there no effect on product. I would not recommend them if your test specifications are in the high ranges.

Needs to improve: The accuracy of the device in high ranges are questionable. They are always out of tolerance.

I've purchased many Mark-10 force and torque gauges which have been useful in many situations. These can be easily integrated in many different custom fixtures very easily, and they have a host of force sensors in different size configurations as well. Their handheld force gauges are great for integrating or for R&D.

Strengths: Affordable and easy-to-use mechanical testers. Handheld testers can be easily integrated or used for R&D purposes. Good customer service.

Needs to improve: Not the most robust mechanical testers in the market, but I don't think that their intention is to make products that compete directly with large mechanical testers like Instron. Mark-10 makes smaller mechanical testers that are very useful and adaptable in their own right.

I am responsible for ordering tools and equipment used in R&D for my company. For calibration tools, force gauges, and torque gauges I most often will order from Mark-10. Their products have a history of being reliable and stay within calibration longer than similar equipment/tools purchased from other companies. I have had friendly customer service experiences and on only 1 occasion did a product take a long period of time to receive. I contact customer service and they promptly shipped out a second item RUSH at no charge to me.

We order calibrating tools to this vendor. We use their pressure gauge meter for our door pump to make sure the quality of our medical device is ok.
Its very accurate giving us informations data highly efficient tool.
They have good customer service that will assist you if your having issues with your equipment helps you troubleshoot and fix the problem.
Also excellent on giving out useful informations about their product to give you a picture/idea what you getting.

Data and data accuracy are vital to our client prototypes and Mark-10's gauges have performed superbly. Quality results, accurate data with convenient customers service. We have purchased handheld torque gauges from Mark-10 in the past. Their products are high quality and easy to use. We have started to do pressure and stress testing in house and their tools are instrumental in helping us complete this accurately. Very happy with the product and their staff is always friendly and happy to answer any questions or concerns we have.

Mark-10 sells some good force gauges (similar to Chatillon). We use one of the Series 5 gauges. Easy to use and good display. They also sell the test stands that can be easily place on top of a benchtop. We ordered our gauge directly from Mark-10 but they also have distributors that get you what you need.

I have purchase quite a few gauges from Mark-10 over the last few years. They are great for applications when you don't need an automated tensile or torque testing machine. They also sell affordable load frames which are ideal when the capabilities of an Instron aren't required.

I like using the Mark 10 digital torque gauges in the right application. When collecting data it is nice to have the digital read out and the ability to have data output. I sometime think they are overkilll for quick and dirty testing.

Our experience with Mark-10 has been good and we have had no issues. We will definitely keep on doing business with Mark-10.

Overall I find that Mark-10 force gauges are built of quality materials and are reliable and accurate.

Needs to improve: Software and interface cables tend to be proprietary and have been to to fail.

Compact force gauges for those on the spot tensile/tension measurements when it’s not feasible to stick your part onto a large machine.
