we have worked with medpace as one of our partners in one of our clinical phase 1 trails. the number 1 reason why we chose them was their expertise. they have an extensive team of scientist and researchers who are well versed in this industry, knowledgeable about the process and are very in tuned with all the strict regulations. this immediately removed any concern we had in that area of any delay a consulting firm may cause if their staff was not as well versed in clinical trails and all its requirements. they addressed some of the issues we had from the start and streamlined our development process to accelerate our time to the final product approval phase. our advisory team worked with us thoroughly. I do wish we were given a designated team member, but we did not have a single point of contact. that was the only downside of this partnership. due to this, there were instances were our communication was delayed which was a disappointment.

Strengths: streamlined approach, therapeutically-centric approach to study design, helped us to reduce cost due to streamlining our study process, expert panel with extensive years of experience in this industry

Needs to improve: on single point of contact for project which may lead to delayed communication

All of the clinical study monitors we used in our study were listed as senior but we now feel otherwise. We ended up having to train their monitors how to do their work and were essentially monitoring by proxy, through what was poorly written in their reports. Some of them never picked up the disease state well, at all, and were asking questions about CRFs that how endpoint implications years into the study. Reports were consistently on the edge of being late or completely late. Above this, we were being charged for some ridiculous hours for the quality of work we were getting. The sales reps and project managers promised the world at the beginning of the study and had some fancy sales slides in our meet and greet, but the result was average for a CRO.

Strengths: In our experience with Medpace, they're very timely with invoices.

Needs to improve: Experience of personnel, timeliness of reports, communication, cost

We used Medpace for phase I development. They were a reliable team and provided sound results. They also look to help you save more money in the later stages which we appreciated.

Strengths: Research is thorough and they keep you in the loop throughout the entire development process. Generally very smart and expert team.

Needs to improve: They are good for early stage development. Cannot speak to later stage development.

We contracted Medpace as they offer a wide selection of services for clinical research solutions. We were referred and mainly investigated their medical writing and quality assurance offerings. Their expert staff kept us informed and despite the complexity of some issues, they made sure to respond promptly. Will reach out to again.
