complete design suite - fast response on technical questions - great customer support

Strengths: My company uses Mentor Graphics tool suite in order to design, simulate, and layout our products. Their tool suite is complete having schematic capture (DXD), simulation (SystemVision), and layout (Expedition). They also have other software that will do power integrity and signal integrity. There software is very well supported and their field application engineers are knowledgable.

Needs to improve: Backwards compatibility issues with their older software versions.

Excellent support for analysis software.

Strengths: Great software. I recommend taking a class to learn the analysis software you use. Thermal or otherwise.

Needs to improve: Software interface isn't too intuitive.
