our company worked with Micro arc to recondition and customize specific marts of our machinery. their repairs were made to our exact specifications and wee extremely precise. we used them for reconditioning parts which means the repair and production of a specific part that is no longer manufacturer. it was tough to find a welding company that was able to make a joint no longer being produced as we needed it to be exact and precise but micro arc was able to fulfill that order for us. we have only worked with micro arc once to product that recondition part for our machine but our overall experience was very positive. they produced the parts in a timely manner, and their welders and team asked very specific questions to match our exact precision. they offer a slew of other welding services and we have heard great things about them from others in our industry. for regular repairs that are not reconditioned, they are usually able to perform the services within 24hours and they only charge at most 50% of the original part so their pricing is very fair. they didnt charge us additional "hidden" charges or installation charges either. if you need welding needs, we highly encourage you to contact micro arc and get a quote
Strengths: team work approach, highly skilled welders, pricing is very fair, no hidden installation fees or charges, most team members have years of expertise, even in welding specific components of pharmaceutical machinery. fast turn around time and able to fulfill mid production changes in a fair time frame
Needs to improve: you are not designated with a single point of contact through the manufacturing/welding process
We had a UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) device that needed to be repaired due to a mishap at our facility, I contacted Scott at Micro Arc Welding and he agreed to let us visit the next day. The weld wasn't a standard weld as the materials to be joined were 304L Stainless Steel and Kovar.
After assessing the device he laser tack welded the parts together and then TIG welded them using a filler. Micro Arc didn't have the facilities to check the vacuum integrity of the welds so it was tested at our facility when we returned.
The device was put on a helium mass spectrometer and the device passed a leak test of 1 X 10^-10 ATM CC/SEC.
We got excellent results first try and Micro Arc saved us from having to re-make a complete expensive assembly. Micro Arc was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and fair with their pricing.
Thank you Scott, Alicia and crew for taking care of us instantly!
We needed welding done for a prototype and this is where we came to take care of business and that's what they did was take care of business and all our needs ,we were very pleased with our finished product so if we need anything else welded this is where we will come and it did not take long and they communicated with us very well and kept us posted when we had questions.
