I have used Minnetronix in my current engineering position for several years. More recently, they were used to help develop a medical device component to be used in R&D. They offered a full service and assembly manufacturing capabilities. More specifically, their technical experts were able to answer many of our more difficult questions and offer feasible solutions. I highly value their quick response time and ability to address any project I reach out to them for support. They are helpful at the beginning with their design service and are able to offer affordable follow-through manufacturing services. I will continue to support this company for my medical device product design and manufacturing needs.

We contracted Minnetronix Inc for products in our assembly line of medical devices as well as testing and calibration process. The products Minnetronix produce are high quality and easy to install onto our assembly line. Our manufacturing process is running smoothly and efficiently thanks to Minnetronix. We also have their testing equipment to ensure that our customers receive the best devices from us. Their equipment has produce accurate results. Customer service was great to work with. They're knowledgeable and easy to reach. Overall we're satisfied with our experience and will continue to support them.

My company uses Minnetronix Inc. for research and its products for our assembly and some test & calibration processes on medical devices we manufacture. The best products they provide such as electronic parts, components and standard hand tools we use in our circuitry and electrical side of our assembly process to lab equipment. All of their products are high quality and reliable. Their customer service is ok, not very knowledgeable on all products and not very professional. They do have competitive pricing and fast turnaround time.

Needs to improve: Customer service

We used Minnetronix for a few medium term contracts when one of our key staff members decided to move on. Their associate was very knowledgeable and actually added a lot of value with his expertise. They were very helpful in helping us re-vamp our electronic and computing systems in our warehouse assembly line to optimize productivity and eliminate waste, and also set us up to grow on a very scalable basis. They were great and highly recommended.

Strengths: 1 stop shop for high quality electronic components and services. Competitive pricing too.

While they might not be the cheapest, if you need the product to be done right the first time, they are worth giving a 2nd and 3rd thought about using.

Strengths: They are the complete turnkey company from design through manufacturing and packaging. Very competent with great in house expertise. They are able to create detailed budget and timelines which were accurate. Great project management.

Needs to improve: They are a bit on the pricy side and not the quickest out there but they make up for this with the quality and thoroughness of the work.

Ideal for those looking for one stop shop for software, hardware development and manufacturing expertise and system that is scalable. Not ideal for early stage companies where cash is limited and need for flexibility is paramount.

Strengths: Technical knowledge in staff, FDA and MDD compliant quality system, project and resource management, project cost and time estimation, customer orientation.

Needs to improve: Cost of doing a project, manufacturing support post market release.

The company I work for has used Minnetronix Inc. for research and we have purchased products for our assembly and some test and calibration process on medical devices we produce. There work and equipment is always high quality. Always gotten great service from there customer service. Will continue to use this vendor.

Needs to improve: 1. Takes very long time to get anything done. Rather it is an iterative process. 2. Small team, therefore, is not capable of doing large volume stuff.

In -house mechanical and elctrical expertise can be a big help in kicking off new products.

Strengths: Solid quality system, Excellent project managment, and In-house expertise.

Needs to improve: Cost. Tranfer of products from R&D to Manufacturing.

Control of the project and creep is very important.

Strengths: Electrical Software controlled medical device, engineering and quality resources available at their disposal.

Needs to improve: Projects become very expensive very fast. Meeting specifications in manufacturing and responsiveness of manufacturing staff is unacceptable.
