Mitutoyo instruments are some of the most common tools I've been exposed to in my 20 plus years working. I have ALWAYS owned a mitutoyo micrometer and caliper set. My personal set is at least 15 years old and has always delivered accurate measurements and have been maintenance free throughout their lifetime. In the design of machines throughout the years, I've always chosen Mitutoyo micrometer heads and scales in my machines because I trust their reliability. Although they're priced on the high side, they tend to pay themselves off with years upon years of trouble free service.

Strengths: Mitutoyo is an industrial manufacturer of industrial measurement and metrology products. Mitutoyo has one of the largest catalogs of measuring devices as they supply everything from go/no go gages to high prescision tool maker's microscopes. Their instruments are as rugged and robust as well as well they are accurate. Rest assured if you're looking for a long lasting precise measuring instrument, Mitutoyo has got you covered.

Needs to improve: As common as they are, Mitutoyo tends to side with the more expensive measuring devices. If your project budget is tight there are cheaper alternatives for sure.

My company purchases many different quality products from Mitutoyo America Corp. We purchase many different measurement tools such as inside micrometers. We use these parts in our R&D Department. Their measurement tools are very accurate, which is important since we manufacture medical devices. Their tools are durable and easy to use, which in our company is helpful since we cycle allot of temps through our company. Customer service is professional and very knowledgeable of their products. When ordering in large quantities they have great deals. Shipping is easy and turnaround time is fast. This vendor is reliable and worth the try!

Mitutoyo America Corp has been a great source for various product needs for our labs. From gauges for our benches to precision tools for our engineers all of their products have been reliable and precise. There have been some we've had to send in for maintenance, but I would say it's normal wear and tear and the guys at Mitutoyo always do a great job of servicing the equipment and getting it back in a short amount of time. Whatever the issue may be, the service team over there is always knowledgeable and polite. Can depend on them to be there for us. Would recommend others check out Mitutiyo America Corp.

Strengths: Great quality gauges which we use to measure rotor run-out, rotor thickness, brake and cylinder roundness. Their products are very accurate and high quality. I can rely on the gauges to perform as advertised and not worry about inaccuracies. Mitutoyo stands by their instruments specifications and we have always been satisfied with their performance. Not only are their calipers and micrometers accurate, they are also very well made and stand up to fairly rigorous use. Overall a great set of gauges for measuring.

Needs to improve: Not the cheapest on the bock. Again its a you get what you pay for quality thing.

Our firm purchased some measurement tools, specifically inside micrometers, from Mitutoyo America Corp to be used in our R&D department. The tools have been very accurate and we have been pleased with the products. They are really easy to use and read the measurements and thus able to save us a lot of time and energy. The sales team is able to give us very detailed descriptions of their products and guide us to the proper instruments that would best serve our need. Mitutoyo has always been very helpful and we plan to continue using their products and services.

We used Mitutoyo America Corp to order lab equipment. There brochure contains the essential we need to know to make informed decisions on any particular product that we order from them. You can also request a hard copy of the brochure. Great lab equipments for a good price. They delivered the products on a timely manner. Customer service can give you technical advice on any product and product demonstration. They give there best service to us and give priority when we need immediate service to keep our production schedules running smoothly.

We use mitutoyo measuring tools in our in house inspection/quality control facility. They make excellent tools and we have never have any issues with them in the past. They also sell calibrated tools for an extra price that has been a worth while investment for us. They get the job done, haven't failed for us yet. They will send a tech to calibrate all your tools in-house for an extra price. I highly recommend them. They have a wide assortment of measuring tools to select from.

We have a couple of their micrometer calipers on our assembly floor. Our techs use the calipers to check thickness and spacing of specific components. They give you a very accurate reading every time. It is a very delicate tool so extra care should be taken when handling them.

Strengths: They have some very good micrometer calipers that are very easy to use and are a necessary tool for any engineer.

Needs to improve: They are a delicate tool if you drop the calipers there's going to be a good chance the calipers will be damaged.

I've had a long partnership with Mitutoyo Metrology center. My company has been sourcing measurement equipment from them for use in our labs. The employees always praise the ease of use of their products and have come to depend on them as well to do their jobs. In working with MMC's sales and customer service departments they have always been very attentive to our needs. They have also worked hard to keep prices competitive which helps us meet our bottom line. Would highly recommend Mitutoyo.

We have used a variety of items from Mitutoyo, here and there, but we mainly use their microscopes. Their microscopes are built to last, strong and durable and yet their optics are so delicate and precise. It's such a strange dichotomy that only a skilled company can produce. Their attention to detail that is put into their microscopes are amazing. Every knob is where it should be, it just makes sense to a trained professional.

My start up uses Mitutoyo Metrology Ctr. to purchase gauges and calipers in our assembly process of medical devices. The products were reliable, durable and most importantly highly accurate. Their customer service is top notch and ordering was very simple. The main issue we have with them is that they can be very slow in turn around time and fulfilling orders. Overall we were decently satisfied and will continue working with them.

We use mitutoyo calipers to measure equipment in our inspection criteria line up. Their calipers are excellent quality and we have never had any issues with using them on the line. Mitutoyo will come down to your facility and send a tech to do calibration on them. Pricing is fair and their staff is friendly and knowledgable. We use them for medical devices but these can be used for other industries as well.

For testing and calibrating our medical machines, we use their micrometers. the specs are accurate but the readings are trippy sometimes. Customer service is very knowledgeable and detailed on their product. On the contrary, this product is expensive and your have to re-calibrate their micrometers if you drop it by accident due to its delicacy.

Being an Engineer I find that the measuring equipment from Mitutoyo is extremely Reliable and Dependable. This ensures the great accuracy when needing to reverse engineer products. I've been using Mitutoyo devices for years and have gotten used their quality and accuracy. You'd be hard pressed to find a micrometer or caliper in my lab from any other brand.

Strengths: Mitutoyo builds high quality measuring equipment for a variety of uses. These tools are considered the best of their class and can be relied upon to supply years of service and accurate measurements.

Needs to improve: Their products tend to be on the pricier side of things, but considering their quality they're not that bad.
