Our Engineering department has used Motion Industries for bearings on our robotic equipment. They offer numerous brands of bearings: SKF, RBC, Timken, NSK, NTN, Schaeffler, Baldor, etc... We contacted Motion Industries to supply us a special order from NSK - highly precision bearing with a high tolerance. They were able to get us some of the bearings within a short time, but the reminder was out over 12 weeks. The great thing was they were in contact with the company (NSK) to ensure they meet their delivery date. Their sales team did go the extra distance to make sure we got our parts on time per their vendor's schedule -- part of a team environment.

Needs to improve: I have been dealing with Motion Industries for the last 4 years. sometimes they are hard to reach and do not get back to you as quickly as expected. The internal sales guy I deal with is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but when he is out of the office there are no good backups - real problem when you are up against deadlines, etc...

I've always had a positive experience with Motion Industries. Whenever I can't locate a part or component via McMaster Carr, Motion Industries tends to be the #2 supplier on my list.

Needs to improve: They don't carry as much as some of their competitors, so their selection is somewhat limited by comparison.

When we looked into expansion of our company to manufacturing we choose Motion Industries as our supplier for needed components and tooling needs. We initially chose them for their wide selection and their friendly customer service. We stayed with them because of their quality components, quick turn around and excellent customer service. These guys are trustworthy.

Motion Industries is a reliable vendor for high quality ball bearings and industrial strength valves and hoses. The hose fittings and valves are easy to integrate with our assembly line tubes to help prevent gas and liquid leaks. Very happy with the quality and will continue to be a customer.

Some of our mfg process requires equipment with valves. These do not last forever. This vendor is a good source of quality valves for our equipment needs. They reliability is very high!

We currently order our adjustable potentiometers from them. Very rarely do I get a pot that doesn't calibrate correctly. We also order our drive motors from the as well. I would recommend their services.
