Strengths: Our experiences with Nimblegen/Roche has been with their Next-generation sequencing enrichment kits and custom targeting designs. Their EZ-Seq software made designing custom genomic capture targets a breeze. Quotes were well priced for small scale synthesis. Performance of their capture kits for HiSeq 2XXX systems is comparable to Nextera/Illumina or Agilent.

Needs to improve: Sales was a little slow in getting quotes back to us and we had to check in with the sales rep a few times before getting the information we needed. You would think sales would be more responsive, especially for potentially large orders.
