Optinova was established by the Swedish fluoropolymerspecialist Habia Technofluor AB in 1971, as a production site for the Habia group.
At the beginning, Optinova produced various types of tubing and cables from different fluoropolymers, mainly PTFE and FEP, for all types of applications, including Medical. One of the first products was IV-catheter tubing. In 1988, Optinova was bought by local investors and our focus on the medical device market was strengthened. Today this is Optinova's single area of devotion.
