Strengths: We use and package Promega enzymes for high precision analytical kits for the research and health sciences. Products are high quality and have excellent quality control reducing our failure rate to nearly zero and ensuring repeat customers. They are a large company and can provide a large host of biological reagents.

Needs to improve: Price are competitive but unhappy customer service reps and grumpy employees diminish enthusiasm in at this medium size company.

we are a small company so we must outsource and contract with other companies for supplies and tools. Promega is our vendor for PCR products. the iPCR products yield high performing results because they use improved and innovative manufacturing processes. this increases the reliability and consistency of our results. All of their products including PCR tools are available in many formats for flexibility, convenience, control and customization. great products and their product representatives are very responsive when you need some assistance

I use Promega’s Quantus Fluorometer for DNA and RNA quantification. Unlike most other fluorometers, the Quantus doesn’t require a computer, so I don’t have to hook up the equipment to a computer before viewing results. The best part about Quantus is that it’s actually compatible with other fluorescent assays, not just the Promega line.

Needs to improve: Difficult to get servicing if you don’t register the instrument within 90 days of purchase
