Robert Half

My experience with Robert Half has been really wonderful and remarkable. I went from working as a temp employee to being hired full-time at another firm. There was more than one person always helping me in my employment search - and they all were very understanding of the desired position I wanted. Also, from the time I first interviewed with Robert Half to the time I was offered a full-time job offer was only a couple of months.

Strengths: The strength of Robert Half is their friendly account executive team and employees whom work passionatly to place people in high caliber positions within the desired industry of their preference.

Needs to improve: The weakness of Robert Half is that they sometime will reach out to full-time employess in regards to available temp work. This is likely a mistake - but nonetheless it's happened a few times.

As an independent CPA, I often have a need for seasonal help especially around corporate tax time. Robert Half provides qualified accountants that are able to hit the floor running as soon as they arrive. I also use them when I get behind on client payroll and sales tax. I really don't know what I would do without them.

Strengths: Readily available temporary qualified book keeping and accounting staff. Robert Half handles all of the HR related responsibilities for the people they provide including payroll, sick days and termination.

Needs to improve: Per hour rate is very high

We use Robert Half for sales tax work. We sell product in almost every state and it is very difficult of our in house accounting staff to keep up with the monthly and quarterly tax payments to each state. The Robert Half people come in once a month for a few days and knock it out. We have never had any probelems with them.

Strengths: Robert Half provides trained accounting professionals for temporary assignements. They are able to do cost accounting, inventory control, financial auditing and tax work.

Needs to improve: Very high hourly rate

I used Robert Half to find several contract finance jobs while I was in between permanent work, the recruiter I worked with was very helpful and responsive to my email inquiries and helped place me very quickly. I would definitely use this firm again if I needed to find temp or contract work.

Strengths: Very well connected recruiters in the financial services industry, fast and responsive to job inquiries and updates, upbeat and great service

Needs to improve: large quantities of job listings so many are not relevant when presented to the job seeker

We used Robert Half to handle our company books and as our CPA to ensure that all things were good with the IRS. They were responsive, quick to answer any questions and provided a lot of insight on our current operations. Will continue to contract out as they kept everything extremely organized.

Strengths: product quality, customer service, professional, timely

We recommend Robert Half for finance and accounting temps. They have great talent. The onboarding process is also very fast so you can get someone within one week.

Strengths: High quality temp candidates for finance and accounting. The turnaround is fast too.

Needs to improve: More expensive than other agencies but their candidates are higher caliber and they hit the ground running.

I've had great experiences with Robert Half, I just wish they hand't taken such a huge chunk out of my paycheck every week for their "fee".

Strengths: Great customer service. They try to find the right job for you.

Needs to improve: Sometimes they can't find you work.

Robert Half is alway find right person our company need. No matter is full time or part time employee we need, just a phone call away.

Strengths: Find professional staff we need.

Needs to improve: Price is a litter bit high.

Consider other staffing agencies too that deals primarily with Medical Device Cos.

Strengths: Find niche people for the right job.

Needs to improve: Not well renowned. More emphasis on non-technical jobs.

Their services have served me well.

Strengths: Very personable and helpful. They want to find the right person for the right job, and have great communication.

Needs to improve: They take a considerable amount of the employee's paycheck.

I had a few interviews through Robert Half and they were very helpful in getting interviews and preparing me for interviews.

Strengths: Very fast to respond via email and phone
