We have used Samtec, Inc. components on our pcbs and back-panels in our telecommunication equipment. They have an extensive selection of components: edge-connectors; sockets, board to board, cables, fiber optics, etc... Their external sales force is knowledgeable of their product-line and can supply upon request: technical data sheets, engineering samples, resolve part discrepancy's on order's, accurate quotes and delivery schedules. Their internal / external staff can supply excellent support when you are trying to find the perfect device - due to the extensive amount of different products that Samtec carries.

Strengths: We use Samtec Inc. products for assembly line on our medical equipment. We purchase electronic components, connectors, flat flexible cables, and etc... The parts we buy is of high quality. Also we purchase a few test equipment for calibration department. The test equipment function as expected right out of the box. Their technical support is very good. Very responsive. If you have any questions you can count on them to satisfy your needs. They also offer design capabilities. Therefore, if you are looking to customize they are available to help. Quotes are accurate and shipping lead times are good. Overall they are a good company to work with.

When there is an issue their customer service was very responsive and within 48 hours the issue was resolved. They provided us with an explanation of what happened with our order and the replacement had already arrived. We were not affected by this delay and was very impressed at how things were handled.

Strengths: Samtec is provides us with our electronic interconnects for our device. They are innovative in their design aspects in making the most intricate interconnections possible.

Needs to improve: We have had issues with some of their shipments but they did remedy them quickly and at the end we were not affected by it.

Good quality durable product, and they always have the parts that we need. They have very good customer service with representatives that are very helpful and always available to answer questions, will continue to do business with Samtec Inc.

Strengths: We purchase all of our electronic parts from Samtec Inc. and we are very satisfied with the products, we use these electronic parts every day, and they always meet our expectations. The products are high quality, durable and are vestibule with our equipment. Great prices, deliveries are never late, the parts always arrive in good conditioned, they're never broken or damaged.

We've been using Samtec's electronic components for some time now in our consumer electronics division. We demand high quality for our components as eventually they will be sold to consumers and if anything fails they will blame us. Samtec's products have been very reliable and we have never had an issue in any of our products due to one of their components. They have also been great in delivering their product on time and at a great price. I would highly recommend giving Samtec a look for your electronic component needs.

Our firm sourced from Samtec Inc in order to purchase a variety of electrical components for assembly of our medical devices. We are really pleased to date as we have not had any issues to date with any of their products. Strengths: Samtec is one of the better connector supplier out there. They carry a huge array of various connector options. They offer free next da delivery of samples which is great when working on new prototypes. They are also willing to customize any of their designs to your specific needs.

Needs to improve: Sometimes they are out of stock on certain connectors.

Samtec manufactures flat flexible cable systems and high speed board to board communication cables for our instruments. The design team is pleasure to work with, they are very responsive to our needs. The lead times could be little faster, but the quality o the products makes up for it.

Strengths: Samtec makes high quality connectors and cable systems. They have a very capable engineering team that can design a custom connector for almost any application.

Needs to improve: Samtec pricing is can be high and lead times can be a little long.

Samtec currently supplies us with our high speed board to board connectors. We use these connectors for our multiple circuit boards that are the brains of our medical devices. When we wanted to streamline and upgrade our internals for our products we went with Samtec. They connectors and cables we got from them made a huge difference. There was a ton variety of colors for the connectors so that helped organized everything. Made it easy to test and find a source of any internal problems we may have and makes it easy to correct. Everything is quality.

Samtec Inc provides my work with everything from connectors to electronic parts to build our dialysis devices. We use them on the assembly production line.
