Strengths: San Mateo Electronics reminds me of the old electronics stores my dad used to take us to when we were growing up and needed to replace tubes and other electronic parts. They are a step back in time. They have great sales staff who know just about everything about electronics. We use them for component supply and replacement parts for items which need to be repaired and cannot be replaced, specifically old vintage electronics in vehicle restoration. When a customer needs a part working again and it hasn't been made in 50 years, we can usually find it at San Mateo Electronics.

Needs to improve: Small store, so don't expect to move thousands of units out of there.

They have a wide range of products of high quality and we were able to purchase products that fit both our exact needs and our budget. They are our source for fuses and lithium batteries.
