Metric Test Equipment

We purchased couple of used/refurbished test equipments from Metric Test (now Microlease) as backup units in case of emergency breakdowns. Their used/refurb instruments are calibrated in a highest standards so you are sure that even for a backup units, these equipments are reliable. The best of all, we don't need to pay for another full price just for backup equipments. We are also looking at rental options and see it is a more viable and cheaper approach.

We do a lot of different experiments running concurrently throughout the semester. We have leads, students, professors, IRB people running around in and out constantly. So it's good to have some consistency within some part of the day. More importantly within each carefully administered experiment. Metric helps with that, their equipment helps keep our experiments stay steady. Their equipment tests are accurate and helps us to control the environment to the best of our abilities. Highly recommended.

This system Agilent Colour Digital Oscilloscope is used for our coil delivery system testing of electrical pulses. This system sends electrical pulses to a coil at the end of a delivery wire to release it into the body. These testers are very reliable and assure us our release box is reliable and accurate.
