These guys are surface treatment experts. They have played a vital role for us in surface treating and electropolshing our stents. Their customer service is excellent and they even allowed us to walk their floors to see their electropolishing and surface treating process. We send our stents to them to have them polished and get them back very quickly. We have very high yields with our inspections on our end and I'm very pleased with the quality of service they provide us with. We have confirmed this by going to various SEM analyzers in the area to get a close up of the surface and can say that they are the real deal. Pricing is fair and the service they provide is unique. They're very quick to answer inquiries over the phone. Very pleased with their service and will continue to do business with them.

My start up uses Santa Clara Plating Co. for their coating and metal plating services on our medical devices. They offer a wide selection service offerings and have knowledgeable team that will provide insight along the way in selecting and tailoring the correct specific surface treatments. The end coating results looked great on our devices. We felt in touch throughout the entire process. They had excellent customer service. Only major issue is that this level of tailoring is not cheap and lead times can be long. However, we'll continue to work with them.

Our R&D engineering department and manufacturing uses Santa Clara Plating Co as a source for their metal coating services: electroplating / Polishing / Anodizing (variety of colors). We use them mainly for our fixtures because we like to have different colored anodize to indicate different parts of our product for assembly. They have a good internal sales force that understands our requirements and can ensure that our fixtures are taken care or every time we need anodizing including surface preparation. Furthermore, their pricing is competitive, high quality, quick turn around and great customer service.

They were very nice people willing to help me out to develop a new process for my specialized application. Their customer service is top notch.

Strengths: They are willing to help you develop new processes - in my case, they helped me pick the correct media for tumbling my parts. Although we ultimately didn't go with the process as it didn't work as well as I'd hoped for my particular application, they were more than willing to try it out for me with minimal cost.

Needs to improve: They seem a bit small and equipment limited. Not sure if they could handle a lot of jobs at the same time.

We have little experience with Santa Clara Plating Co. We contracted them for a few prototype models we had and wanted to see the variety of plating we could use on our products. However, from the get go, we noticed and realized right away this company is legit. They are great and we will definitely contract out with them for our products when we decide on the finish. We are very pleased with the whole process and the quality. Their customer service was awesome and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended vendor.

As a smaller firm, we tend to have tighter deadlines than other most but this vendor was able to exceed our expectations at a very competitive price. Great team here!

We use them for R&D small lots electro polishing project.. Good communication on the requirements of certain work and since they are local to us, can stop by to drop off and pick up parts. They price is compatible and it may get a little cheaper for certain type of job.

I like their pick up and drop off service. It saved our time. Their surface finishing job is good and we placed small lots orders for R&D testing and new innovation. So far we have no major issue with them. I will keep using them as for our R&D projects.

Now that we have found a good local anodizing company we will continue to do more business with them. We tried their abrasive blasting and anodized services on our metal parts. We were very pleased with the service provided and the quality of service. Customer service kept us up to date on the job status and we received our parts on time.

Strengths: Santa Clara Plating is one our source we use for nickle plating and aluminum anodize parts for our R&D Prototype fixtures. Our engineering like to use them for small lots, prototypes, research and development, engineering models. The quality is very good. Their customer service reps. are very helpful and knowledgeable of their products. Quotes are accurate and price competitive. Delivery is on time.

Our company use Santa Clara Plating for Passivation our components such as hypotube, stainless steel shaft and other components. We like it because it's local and quick turn around. If we drop parts early in the morning then we can pickup parts the same day. Great price by lot charge and we never have any problem with packing list or certification. Great customer service too

Strengths: I have used this company several times anodize aluminum parts to be used in the CER. This company offered free service to pick-up the parts and delivered these upon anodization. The coating was done correctly, it never deteriorated.
