SSM is our secondary contractor for a few of our medical prototype devices. while we do use them for contact manufacturing services, we also use them for fee based facility access. since we are a smaller company we try to remain lean on our spending thus outsourcing our facility to SSM has worked out for us. they have ISO certified rooms so it is less inspection worries for our team. while they are a smaller manufacturing contract company, the pricing they offer is still very competitive. the only remark i would say is their turnaround time is not very fast so just give your projects some extra time frame.

Our firm contracts with Second Source Medical LLC as a source to help with our prototypes on medical devices. Second Source is a great vendor to work with because they keep you apprised of their progress so that there is never any confusion as to where they stand. The finished products are also of high quality and the pricing is definitely reasonable. They are a great vendor and we would recommend to any business!

I have used Second Source many times for rental of their CER to prepare samples for testing and for human trials. The team at SSM are capable, and happy to help in any way that they can. I highly recommend talking to Ross to see what SSM can provide when looking for anything from Design & Development work to full scale manufacturing.

Very capable group of experienced medical device engineers. SSM has provided us everything from a couple tables worth of CER space to the complete assembly of devices. I have been very happy with the level of service and the depth of their manufacturing capabilities - they have segregated areas for silicone and for chemical processing. I will definitely be talking to them again.

We rented CER space to fabricate biocomp test samples with our own staff. The facility was good, and they offered all of the miscelaneous materials (IPA, wipes, lights, microscopes, etc.) that we needed to get the job done. I will be talking to them about taking over more of the manufacturing in the future.

A former colleague of mine used SSM for his startup company. He didn't have the resources to fully develop a device so he used SSM. They saved him a lot of money. They seemed to do good work and are one of his go to sources for R&D work

My last start up company used their clean room space to build units for validation purposes. The staffs there are very professional and we are pleased with clean and organized space they got and how they manage it. Highly recommended.
