We used Six sigma to help us with soem DOE work to solve a very complicated design problem. they spent almost two weeks with us taking us through a process map, thought map, measurement system analysis and then DOE. After the two weeks was up we learned much about the design and were able to easily find the root cause to the design problems. We also learned the tools so that we can go through the process our selves.

Strengths: Six Sigma Systems provides expert consulting services in design and process optomization, measurment system analysis and process control.

Needs to improve: Hourly rates are very expensive

Very positive experience and would recommend to any quality system team having difficulty with root cause analysis.

Strengths: We consult them for root cause analysis on failed devices. They are very quick and we have implemented many of their suggestions with success.

Needs to improve: None that I can't think of other than cost however with the cost in service you save in time and a better overall product.

We have used 6 sigma for consulting on several reliability issues at my company. Their representatives are very helpful and most cases contributed to dramatic improvements. The costs and time involved where not insignificant, but we are glad to have used their services.
