Snap-On Tools

I started using Snap-on Tools a few years later after opening my own automotive shop. Obviously Snap-on is a big name in the industry however they tend to be more on the expensive side and for up and coming new shop owners, can be overwhelming when it comes financially. LIke any tool manufacturer, they have a wide selection to select from. However what really makes them stand out is not the quality of the tools (very high) it is the customer service. I never knew how convenient having tools delivered to my shop would be until I was in the middle of a job and one of my tools broke. I called them and they had the truck deliver me a new tool within 3 hours and I did not have to pay for anything. Saved my butt, saved me time, and gives me confidence that I can do the jobs that I need to do without having to worry. Definitely if you can afford it, snap-on is the way to go I'd say.

Snap-On tools has excellent customer service, there was an instance I had placed an order that was close to $1,000.00. I had mistakenly put the part number for a tool box that I did not need, not to mention bringing my total close to $1,500.00. I did not catch this mistake until my shipment arrived. I called my rep over at Snap-On told him it was my fault for ordering the wrong part number and not double checking the order they email prior to shipping, My rep took care of everything including covering return shipping back to Snap-On at no cost to me.

Strengths: Snap-On tools are by far the strongest tools we have ever used. They do warranty all the tools that we purchase from them and in the 8 years using Snap-On I have not had to warranty anything at all.

Needs to improve: The only weakness is the prices are higher than other brands, however I do believe you pay for what you get.

I have used Snap on tools for personal and professional jobs. They are great around the house, I never have to worry about them breaking or falling apart because most likely they won't and if they do, its within the company's warranty policy. As a professional using the products, I used them while install car stereos and small mechanical things. Awesome products, again no worries about wearing or breaking tools. They are high quality, clean, comfortable to use and very pretty.

Needs to improve: high price, but quality comes at a price, can't go to a store and get at any time, but patience will pay off in a tool that lasts a lifetime.

ive worked with both hand and power tools in the lab and too me the durability just wasn't there. the was a number of time where the hand screw driver would be too weak to loosen a tightly fitted screw from my dialysis machines and I would just end up stripping it because of the tool.

With the dedicated sales/driver route system, they have amazing customer service and support. It is a time saver when they come to your place of work for you to shop.

Strengths: Absolutely the best mechanic's tools made. Super high quality. Great ergonomics. Well engineered. Triple chrome plated for durability. Best warranty in the business. Your shop is serviced by only one truck, and if you have a broken tool, it is replaced right there, on the spot. There is no tool which Snap-On doesn't make. And if they don't make it, they probably will if you ask. Oh yeah, American Made.

Needs to improve: They are also the highest priced mechanics tools in America. You get what you pay for.

My experience has been great. I have not had to deal with customer service, but hear they are very helpful and responsive. My review is based on high quality of tools I have purchased and I would highly recommend based on my solid experience.

Strengths: Really high quality mechanic's tools. I believe they even have a life time warranty. They have a good variety of different tools and tool sizes to fit your needs. The pricing is also very competitive and inline with even lesser quality tools. I recommend.

Needs to improve: Surprisingly not all hardware stores carry Snap-On Tools. I wish they would had a broader scope of national retailers that they cover.

Snap-On Tools has a product line with a wide selection of tools, used for automotive and industrial needs. They have a direct sales approach , which consists of a mobile sales force of distributors. Their tools are of excellent quality, price and service, warranty basically unchanged for the last 35 years I have been doing business with them.

Strengths: The great thing about Snap-On mobile tool force, is if they do not have the tool you need at the moment they will do their best to ensure you get it within the next trip. High Quality, Well Engineered, Best Warranty - Replace broken or damaged on the spot

We contracted Snap-On Tools for their wide array of hand tools in our assembly line of medical devices. They are extremely durable and reliable. We've never had any issues with them. We were impressed by the customer service. They were easy to reach and available to answer all of our questions. Ordering process was quick and easy. The shipment arrived ahead of schedule. They offer the competitive pricing and quality that we look for in a vendor. We will continue to work with them and recommend to others.

Snap-On Tools are hard to beat for quality and design. Their attention to detail is evident when ever I try to take apart something with damaged bolts or nuts, rusted together, or not disassembled for 10 yrs. Snap-on has optimized the design of their boxed end wrenches and sockets so they don't apply the forces to the corners of the nuts, but rather to the flats, so you can still remove rounded nuts. The stud pullers are also the best, the treaded collet design is awesome.

We use a lot of their tools such as torque drivers, crimpers, torque wrenches and other useful handtools. They're mainly used for the assembly production line to assemble medical devices. Great quality tools you can depend on because they never snap or break on you. They make top notch tools that results to quality machines. I rely on these tools to get the job done. It certainly makes my job easier. I recommend to anyone that uses these tools.

We have had our share of hand tools fail on us in our lab. Somehow we managed to break a breaker bar and had to contact Snap-on for warranty work. We provided them the make and model and without any questions being asked, they had already ask for an address to ship a replacement to. EXCELLENT customer service with a great warranty. The tools are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Highly recommended

We use their tools in a daily basis for assembling any medical machines sub-assembly parts. Customer service is good and always on time when we needed it. We have a wide variety of tools with this brand. All of it are high on quality. A little bit pricey but is not an issue for me.

You get what you pay for and our firm dishes out a little more for Snap On tools to ensure quality for our customers. While pricing could be better, the tools speak for themselves. Customer service is always great and the lead time is excellent. We use them routinely in our assembly process and always urge our procurement staff to order from them when needed.

Some of the best hand tools you can buy. Awesome customer service. More likely if you are having trouble removing a bolt, stud, nut, etc, with a brand other than Snap-on if you get a snap-on version you won't. Broke a flywheel wrench the other day, shipped me a new one overnight with just an email picture of the broken one.

We used Snap on tools in our auto shop when I worked there and my tool box at home is almost all Snap-on. They are very expensive, but when you buy the best you only have to buy it once. I am a big believer in Snap on quality from mini screw drivers to torque wrenches they are the best

we have their hand drills and power drills on every assembly station on our liberty cycler assembly line for our assembler to assemble our dialysis machines with. their tools are very good quality and very reliable on a daily basis. the tools are very good in pricing and are shipped on time.
