Swift Metal Finishing

When we were looking for someone to work with use to produce some samples of our prototypes, we came across swift metal finishing. We called them up to see what they can do for us in terms of pricing, coating and the turn around. They were very understanding, knew what we wanted and provided us with a quote. Their pricing was competitive and were able to work with us and our budget and our odd product requests. So we decided to go ahead and work with them, we just had a good feeling about them compared to the others we contacted. Our feelings came through because our prototypes looked amazing, exactly how we wanted and made our decision on the direction of what to do easier. These guys know what they're doing, have great customer service and just get it. Highly recommended vendor.

Swift Metal Finishing has a quick turnaround time. They offer excellent communicating. Emailing habits could be better. We are in the day and age of emails/computers. Not a fan of Faxing and hand written documents.

Strengths: Overturn on items are extremely quick. Finishes are excellent. Plating services are great. If there is an issue with any plating, they work with us to make it right.

Needs to improve: Haven't had any real major issues with Swift Metal. They are one of our top outside sourcing plating companies. Wish they had a good website though or made better use of emails in terms of contact. Phone/verbal is okay, but easier to keep track of the paper trails if using emails.

Our R&D department and manufacturing uses Swift Metal Finishing as a source for their metal coating services: electroplating/Polishing/Anodizing (variety of colors). We use them mainly for our fixtures because we like to have different colored anodize to indicate different parts of our product for assembly. They have a good internal sales force that understands our requirements and can ensure that our fixtures are taken care or every time we need anodizing. Furthermore, their pricing is competitive, high quality, quick turn around and great customer service.

Their friendly staff walked us through their process and gave us detailed information. They are detailed-oriented - which makes me feel comfortable doing business with them. We have purchase custom length connectors from Swift Metal Finishing in the past. They were excellent to work with, and accommodated to our very precise requirements. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them, and they helped us complete our job on time.

We purchase from Swift Metal Finishing for their quality products such as fasteners, valves but we mainly use their wide selection of connectors and connector pins and Metal finishing.

Great to use when in a crunch and need a local shop. Not for high volume output

Used them on 3 projects. Their powder coating was great. Many different colors to choose from. Tried to use them for other coatings without much success. When we moved to higher volume, their quality became inconsistent from batch to batch.
