We work in consumer products and have a very thorough testing process. We want our products to be within a certain parameter and heat source is distributed a certain way. Them-X helps us with this, their testing helps us determine the heat distribution among our product and then we use that information to change our designs, tweak it to best benefit the consumer. ThermX also gives input too. Their advice should be taking highly. Very good team

We have used the little Therm-X machines to tip the ends of nitinol ribbons so that can't pull thru a slot. It was fairly straightforward to construct fixturing to control the amount of material that that rolls back into a ball. I would recommend this as a potential solution to tipping wires, and suspect that it would work well for welding thermocouple wires as well.

An excellent vendor for all your testing needs. We have procured- Therm-X for both electrical and heating equipment testing. Exactly what you want in their staff as they are very thorough and precise. Their testing results have been instrumental in helping us re-calibrate our equipment to ensure our electrical machinery are being used efficiently, and the heat distribution in our process is consistent.
Strengths: electrical testing, heating equipment testing

Therm-X testing services have come in very handy for us. We prototype quite a few products and need to be able to quickly iterate the testing phase. They have come through for us while keeping quotes in line. Their sales and service departments are always willing to help out. Would highly recommend looking into Therm-X for your testing needs.

Over the years, I have purchased several Therm-X thermocouple welders. This unit is great for welding thermocouples as well as running up a ball on the end of most any wire. Very handy tool for prototyping and product development.

Great little welding unit that is simplified so most any operator can use it. Electrode is shielded inside a box, just hook up the Argon cylinder and start working!
