we reached out to toxikon to assist us in the pre-clinical steps of our company. we contracted them out to become our development partner and we were assigned a specific point of contact rather than multiple individuals who would be managing our account. our rep worked with use through every step to learn the specifics of our applications so they may help us more readily. they delivery our data reports in a timely manner and the results were reliable, thorough and valuable. they have assisted us tremendously in our clinical development and well continue to use them in our future pre-clinical needs

One of our default vendors for biocompatibility testing. We're a small startup that outsources a lot of our testings due to capacity constraints. We've been impressed with Toxikon's quality of service as their expert staff make it a point to maintain constant communication throughout. Accurate results and rather quick turnaround times given the thoroughness of the analysis. Will contract again due to the level of client dedication

My start up uses Toxikon for biocompatibility testing. We usually outsources our testing process due to budget capacity constraints. We were happy with Toxikon's quality results as their expert team make it a point to maintain regular communication through out the process. Accurate data and rather fast turnaround times given the complexity of the analysis. Will definitely work with this vendor again.

We've used Toxikon a number of times. They excel at testing non-standard products. Given our product was a new concept there wasn't much prior testing experience to go by. Material amounts were small, so achieving the gram requirements would be extremely difficult and costly. Toxikon work with us to develop a strategy to achieve the required amounts without the huge cost.

I used Toxikon based a commendation from a colleague. They performed the services that were asked on Class VI device. My only concern is the distance when shipping samples across the country. There are lots of good labs on the west coast that I would use instead.

Nelson Labs is my goto biocompatibility vendor, but sometimes they don’t always have the capability to perform all the tests. That’s where Toxikon comes in. Their staff is knowledgeable and well aware of the regulatory climate and what expectations regulatory bodies are looking for.

Helped get several devices through biocompatibility testing. Were very good about updating us when regulations changed mid-test. Helped us justify certain test successfully to the FDA.

Strengths: They are experts on what the FDA wants to see, given the FDA's unclear guidances and instruction.

Needs to improve: Their experts are often too busy to respond to urgent requests for information.

All their testing is completed and on time. They are a great resource for biocompatibility testing. Overall a good testing company which I highly recommend.

Toxikon aided in the planning and execution of ISO10993 biocomp testing for regulatory submission (US & OUS). This testing included all requirements for an implant and delivery system (Class 3). Communication was good, and the testing proceeded according to schedule.

Toxikon was instrumental in helping our product pass Biocompatibility testing. Their knowledge of the tests helped determine the correct tests for our device and to determine a false positive was not related to our device.
