Vention Medical

We first reached out to Vention when we needed assembly assistance with our expanding product line. They did such a great job that we have since use them for some of their in house products as well. In all phases of our interactions with them they have always been professional. All of their services and products are always completed with very high quality in mind. Their team is always available for any questions and their delivery and costs are in line with competitors. We will continue our relationship with Vention and would recommend others look to them as an option for your medical device product and assembly needs.

Strengths: Molding Machines are in the Cleanroom, Process and Manufacturing Engineers on-site to assist with issues. Good systems in place once product is validated and in production. Good Project Management.

Needs to improve: Quoting process- they quote one price then back track later. Molding- Mold knowledge particularly at Costa Rica facilty needs improvement. The communication between all the dvivisons within the US and overseas has caused a lot of problems. Some time left hand doesnt knwo what right hand is doing.

My company has purchased some custom polyamide tubing and custom composite tubing that is used to help us manufacture our medical devices. There custom work is outstanding. And they are awesome at meeting deadlines. They produce a high quality products. We have never had any issues With this vendor. Customer service is very professional. This vendor is worth the try guaranteed!

Our firm purchased custom polyimide tubing along with other custom composite tubing that we needed for our medical devices and the results have been great. Some of our devices are very unique so we approached Vention and they were both very accommodating and professional. Their service group walked us through the process and gave us very realistic expectations. Their quick lead times and competitive pricing was also a big factor in us sourcing from Vention. We will definitely be using them again!

As a new R&D tech, I am responsible for ordering for the projects. Vention offers different tubing for variety application. I used on line to order most of the common sizes and tubing like Polyimide and heat shrink. It is very easy to order on line. The shipment came on time. So far I haven't had any contacts with customer service.

We have purchased custom tubings from Vention Medical with excellent results. The tubings we purchased had to be custom made due to the material required by our client, and the depth of the tube casings. Vention was able to come through with a very competitive price, and delivered on time which is rare for custom products and first time customer! We are very pleased and will continue to be a customer of theirs.

Vention is a great vendor to work with. Our company contracted them to assemble/package a run of proprietary medical equipment. They offered a fully automatic solution for our job which focused on efficiency of production. We also took advantage of their package sealing systems (although we chose to do the labeling portion inhouse). Their sales team offered both efficient and cost-saving solutions that were tailored to our needs and we recommend this vendor.

Vention medical never seizes to impress us with their capabilities. They have the ability to coextrude polymers with very different and incompatible characteristics. Addtionally, they can also hold amazingly tight tolerances.

Strengths: Vention Medical can extrude almost any material and hold very mtight tolerances. They are also capable of complex extrusions like coextrusions with materials that have very different melt temperatures.

Needs to improve: They can be slow to provide quotes and also slow to respond with issuses at receiving inspection.

used them in the past for extrusions. they are a bigger conglomerate these days of multiple services as many companies were bought and absorbed in. this is good and bad many times. as their capabilities have definitely enhanced significantly, it just sometimes removes focus and expertise at one single thing very well. haven't used them recently as vention, but in the past i used their advanced polymers company/division and they were excellent

Very committed to their work as well as to their customers, and they are extremely knowledgeable about their products and their manufacturing.

We have ordered multi-lumen extrusions from Vention. They do good work, especially on customs runs. Their sales staff and customer service are very good. We have not had any issues on any of our orders. They go the extra mile to make sure they meet our expectations. No surprise costs to worry about. The price they quote is the price you pay.

Vention Medical in Sunnyvale is the design house and they have lots of equipments and capabilities. We are happy to use them as a contact builder for you clinical devices units.

My experience with Vention was overall good. That said, contract device development work is a challenging proposition since the requirements and goals of a new project can change rapidly. Vention did a good job of staying on top of the changing landscape, and did ultimately produce a design that met our requirements.
