We have used Lake Region manufacturing as a vendor to provide us with delivery coils and guidewires for neurovascular purposes. The technology they use for their manufacturing process is second to none and we have had high success rates with navigation and delivery of our units seen in field testing. Overall I am very happy with the performance and the quality of the products they provide. They manufacture at such a high tolerance that we hardly have any rejects when we inspect them in our assembly line. Their customer service is excellent, they are friendly, easy to work with, and easy to reach. Pricing is kind of on the high side but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them if you are in the industry of coil and guidewire manufacturing.

Lake Region Medical has the clinical, technological and device expertise our company needs to aid in the development of minimally invasive delivery systems and components. In our testing process we use various medical instruments to help produce our medical devices and this company helps prodives those services. Lake Region aids our may processes from prototype manufacturing to clinical builds, and can develop a manufacturing process suited for high-volume, commercial manufacturing. With this company any and all issues we have quickly are resolved for the highest of quality.

Our firm contracts with Lake Region Manufacturing Co. for both products during our assembly and some testing and calibration processes on medical devices we produce. The products we purchase such as wires, components and standard hand tools have always been of the utmost quality and and very reliable. We have rarely had any problems with any of these products and when we do their service department is able to take care of it quickly. Their quick turnaround times also allow us to manufacture and optimal levels. We would definitely recommend Lake Region to any business!

My start up uses Lake Region Manufacturing Co. products in our assembly process and some calibration testing on medical devices we produce. Their best products include wires, electronic parts, components and standard hand tools, which we use in our circuitry and electrical side of our assembly process, as well as lab equipment. Also in our testing process we use medical instruments, gauges, meters to record data for every device we manufacture. If any issues arise, their customer service and sales reps are always available with quick turnaround.

Overall, I've been able to adapt and work with LR. I'm not a huge fan, but they aren't doing anything particularly wrong, they just don't excel like some other companies can.

Strengths: All service OEM manufacturing company that specializes in wire grinding and manufacturing sub-assemblies.

Needs to improve: I've encountered some issues with communication with their project teams. The folks service large firms so "personal attention" isn't their strong suit. In my experience there is a sharp contrast in quality/yields after they receive a contract for your business than before.

we have used them in the past for a custom specialized guide-wire like project. we were able to successfully complete it with the staff at lake region manufacturing, packaging, etc with their capabilities to produce this with us leading the design requirements. it was a much faster path than for us to build one in-house and source the materials and equipment. everything was able to be completed on time and with eventual CE/FDA approvals. their staff was very helpful and collaborative throughout the process.

These guys are the industry standard when it comes to medical supplies. Not only do they do custom products to fit your needs most of their OEM products are used in the hospitals. This is very helping for us when teaching and training new students who are going to be in hospitals and medical facilities. Since they are widely used, this can help foster training and education of students, helping them to generalize what they learn into all settings. Awesome vendor.

Used Lake Region to design, develop, and manufacture a neuro .014" guidewire. Project took one year plus, mostly due to the fact that we, as the ones setting the specifications, did not really know how to specify or test what we wanted. final product came out very good.

Their engineering assistance support is very good and responsive. Their pricing are a bit high but their serive is good. Their quality is very good. Their technical service is excellent and very knowledgeable. Quotes are accurate.

Overall a solid company with a long term record of medical device manufacturing. However, they can be very difficult to deal with at times and this can lead customers to look elsewhere.

Their dedicated staff was quick to identify bottlenecks and recommended very cost-effective measures to help remedy these issues. Very pleased with the end results and will use again in the future!
