I was in need of a test fixture to perform iosipescu shear strength testing on materials. This was a very complicated fixture to make ourselves so I looked for someone that has experience with them. I was initially shocked at the cost, but it was the only company I could find that carried them in stock.
When they arrived, I saw the price we paid was justified. Solid Stainless Steel fixture that would make sure our specimens were tested properly. Super smooth movement and easy specimen adjustments to ensure the test is run properly with accurate results.
Now when I need a fixture, this is the first place I check.
Strengths: Insanely high quality test fixtures. They will last a lifetime no matter how much you use them. No worries that they don't meet the ASTM standard.
Needs to improve: Pricy but what is the price of inaccurate results? Spend the money here if you have the budget. It is worth the peace of mind.
