Wytech has two services that are geared towards R&D organizaitons: Fast Lane and Fast Track.

Fast lane is their overnight delivery program for wires. This is a great resource if you're not asking for anything too out of the ordinary. I've used it several time in the past with around a 50% success rate. Meaning half the time they did not have what I was requesting so it was going to take them a few weeks to deliver.

Fast Track is their Rapid Prototyping program. "Rapid" is sort of subjective. I've tried on two occasions to get ground wires through this program only to find a different supplier who could do it faster and cheaper.

It's awesome that Wytech found a niche they felt they could fill. It would be nicer if they could deliver on what they are advertising.

Strengths: Wytech Industries supplies medical grade ground wires, wire stock and tubing. They have a large selection of in stock wires of different alloys and sizes and can grind profiles and features onto those wires based on your specifications.

Needs to improve: Getting ground wires from Wytech can take some time if you're asking them to do anything out of the ordinary.

Wytech is more of an under promise, over deliver. Just when you think you are in a lot of trouble due to needing material, they send you a shipment notification that your product is on its way. Nice to have that!

Strengths: Wytech has great customer service and are willing to let you place large blanket orders with scheduled deliveries. Pulling in orders can sometimes be a little painful waiting for an answer, but overall they are a preferred supplier to my company. I highly recommend them

Needs to improve: Getting an answer from customer service can sometimes take a few days. That can be problematic. There's not much of an expedite service. If they incorporated a standard expedite, they could improve a lot

We use Wytech to purchase various wiring selections also their raw-material products for our assembly line and some testing on our medical devices. All products they offer are easy to use, install and modify and they have great deals to offer that you can choose from along with reliable shipping price. Speaking with their customer service representatives are every helpful and knowledgeable of their product to help completed an accurate order for the company. They are a great vendor to work with.

My start up uses Wytech for sourcing mandrels and have been for the past few years. Great product quality and customer service. Our main issue with them was their slow turnaround, especially troubling as they market their rapid response times to customers. Pricepoint is a bit higher for the speed of delivery as they are charging a premium for the speed that is not fulfilled. Will continue to use however would switch if we found a faster or cheaper alternative.

While we try to keep our costs down and keep a number of vendors in our deck, we return time and time again to Wytech due to their level of quality care. They have been reliable with there shipment and parts are usually in stock. They also give you a fair price for there products. The company provide good customer service as well. The metal tubing suppliers are many, but Wytech does have very good quality and reliabilitiy for their products. We use these tubes in various groups, but Manufacturing and labs are the largest users of these products. They are always satisfied with the quality of the tubes and rarely have any problems with them.

Strengths: Good for custom mandrels, such as shaping mandrels that get included with some catheters.

Needs to improve: On our first order, our mandrels can sharp at the end (not good for inserting into a catheter), but they fixed the issue upon the next order.

Wytech is our source for components for our electronics repair. They also have provided us with custom wiring and braided harnesses for our dialysis machines. They offer quick shipping, competitive quotes and always a quality product is what keep us doing business with them.
