Zogenix has a new product out called Zohydro ER that we are carrying. It has yet to really hit the market but we do hold this in stock and have had a few of our prescribers inquire about the product. this product as indicated was not for "as needed" use and has a great deal of limitation in terms of patient use. Also, there is a conversion that the medical dispenser needs to know before prescribing. We have been in very close contact with the team members who represent our region to get education and training for dispensing this product. Their medical team also provided our employees with a training session so that we are more familiar with the product, its conversion and limitation so that we may dispense the product properly and convey the needed information to prescribing physicians. Our representative has been very responsive to our questions and concerns as well as providing us with a lot of educational information. Their team is very knowledgeable and most have an extensive medical background rather than just sales which is very important to our team. While this product has been on the market for a while now, we are still very much in contact with our region representative and have relied when many questions have come up. this is a small pharmaceutical company bu they seem to be doing great and innovative things for any CNS disorders and pain management
