Overall, I had an extremely positive experience when working with Vetter. I would work with them again.

Strengths: -customer service; the team that I worked with at Vetter was very efficient and knowledgeable. My weekly meetings with them were usually very productive. They are probably one of the best CMOs I've worked with
-manufacturing; Vetter is an extremely reliable
-expertise; Vetter has been a contract manufacturer for decades, and it shows with their expertise

Needs to improve: -German to English translation; although the people I worked with at Vetter speak English extremely proficiently, one major pain point in the documents and the reports was that a lot of time would be spent on correcting grammar and wording choices

Overall, my experience with La Tre Cuisine was positive. People enjoyed the food and their customer service made it extremely easy to work with them. Their prices seem a bit expensive though.

Strengths: -food; food was a huge hit among my group, especially the shrimp toast
-customer service; customer service was extremely quick in my request for a lunch quote and was very helpful in suggesting a menu
-lunch service; the entire lunch was set up in the conference room with absolutely no hassle on my side

Needs to improve: -pricing: I didn't realize how easy it was to hit the typical $20/person limit with their food. $20/person for lunch is extremely generous, but almost all the food was gone. Drinks are $1.50 each for a typical assortment of water and soda, which seems a bit overpriced to me.

Terrible experience just based on customer service. I cannot comment on the quality of their products since my communication with them never got to that point.

Strengths: -wide selection of filling components
-pricing seemed comparable to other competitors

Needs to improve: -customer service; the one person I worked with was extremely unresponsive despite multiple e-mails and phone calls and when he did respond, it was obvious that he did not understand my requirements. He ended up forwarding me to a person who was more helpful, but at that point, I had found another vendor.

EMD Millipore has good customer service and delivers a high quality end product. I just wish they didn't have such long lead times.

Strengths: -responsive; the coordinators I have worked with are usually pretty good about responding to my e-mails quickly
-high quality product; they are experts in filtration validation and understand regulatory requirements
-friendly; the customer service is friendly

Needs to improve: -communication; I would like it if they kept me updated about the progress for different studies rather than me needing to regularly ping them about updates -speed; I think that maybe they have been extremely busy lately, but the time it takes from start to finish for validation testing is very long (close to half a year) -pricing; they are a bit expensive, but it is worth it for the assurance that they are experts in their field and know what they're doing

Service could be better. Unfortunately, they are the major vendor for biopharmaceutical tubing and they have the largest selection.

Strengths: -Very wide selection; they have all types of tubing specifically for biopharmaceuticals

Needs to improve: -their website is extremely difficult to navigate; they have a whole section devoted to tubing, but there's no section to compare different types of tubing against each other. There is no quick spec sheet that makes it easy to distinguish between the different brands of tubing -customer service is a little slow -it seems like customer service didn't read my e-mail about my requirements; I asked about tubing for a specific requirement, and they instead told me about the type of tubing that is typically offered for our manufacturing sites

I had a generally very positive experience with them. I had no major issues.

Strengths: -Very responsive; they responded to my request for a quote within 24 hours

-Helpful; I had initially asked about a balance, but they suggested a cheaper balance that fit my requirements

-Fast; it took less than a week from when I contacted them until they processed my PO

Needs to improve: Their website could be easier to navigate. I liked the EasyFinder for Laboratory Balances option, but you had to scroll down to the bottom of one of the pages to find it. I thought that this feature should be better advertised since it was very useful.
