Our lab setting's pretty hectic, people are flying around trying to get things done, trying to meet deadlines and trying to get results. It helps to have equipment that just works. Mettler Toledo does just that, their scales and lab equipment just work. They're accurate, able to with stand our daily abuse and it just works. Not much to say about a product that does it job, and does it just consistently over time. If you want a quality product that just works as its suppose to and lasts forever, look to these guys.

Strengths: -Very responsive; they responded to my request for a quote within 24 hours

-Helpful; I had initially asked about a balance, but they suggested a cheaper balance that fit my requirements

-Fast; it took less than a week from when I contacted them until they processed my PO

Needs to improve: Their website could be easier to navigate. I liked the EasyFinder for Laboratory Balances option, but you had to scroll down to the bottom of one of the pages to find it. I thought that this feature should be better advertised since it was very useful.

We have had no issues with product quality. The scales are very precise and reliable.

Strengths: We have been using scales from Mettler for over 30 years. The precision is second to none and, outside of standard periodic servicing, have had no issues at all. We deal in items that are very small, so precision in weighing is remarkably important.

Strengths: Mettler makes highly accurate and very sophisticated digital balances to measure mass.

Needs to improve: They are pretty expensive, but you are paying for high quality and accurate products. You also need to make sure it stays calibrated annually.

Have always used Mettler scales to measure. The scales are very accurate and are extremely easy to use. We have several of these units in our lab area for measuring reagents.
