3M

I use 3M products throughout my office, whether it be from tape to staples and everything in between, I can always count on the high quality items that are manufactured by 3M. These products are ever abundant throughout my office, and are used by nearly all staff there.

Additionally, 3M products come at a great price. When other products are more expensive, and you need bulk for in my case an office, you look for the cheapest, but high quality products, and 3M's products are exactly that. This makes me always buy 3M for my office as I have never had a problem with quality or price of their products.

Lastly, 3M products can be found at nearly all office style stores, or even grocery stores which makes the ease of finding and obtaining 3M products incredibly easy, which as mentioned earlier is a nice little touch.

We have used 3M products in R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Production. The adhesive tapes are extremely reliable and dependable. The 3M adhesives do the job, I have used them for adhering rubber to steels and once they part has been applied correctly - per mfg spec's - the adhesive tape performs exceptionally well, no complaints. Their external sales force is very knowledgeable of their product lines, they can supply product samples, technical data sheets, accurate quotes, technical resources, etc... It is a real asset when trying to figure / spec out the correct adhesive - let the experts take care of it.

Needs to improve: They are a larger company and at times the product has taken longer to get to our plant than normal. They do not always keep you informed of the status of your products / orders. You will have to stay on top of them to ensure schedules are keep.

As I work in the automotive industry, believe it or not some interior and exterior pieces are installed with 3M double sided tap. It holds up to every weather conditions. I was installing a small duck lip on the edge of the trunk on a Mazda Miata. It was very easy to install. It has been holding up for over 5 years! Has not shown a sign of falling off whats so ever. Such a great product of 3M!

Strengths: I have used 3M for many situations. There products are top quality and for such a great price, its unreal. I'm that consumer that has 3M in every cabinet for emergencies. I have mainly used the double sided 3M tape for a lot of interior work in my car and my customers as well. It holds so well with a clean professional look. It can make any look professional.

Needs to improve: There is no weakness for 3M.

We have been using 3M for our main supplier of packaging materials for medical devices such as guide wires, triple lumen catheters, stents, coils, etc. They provide our labeling, pouches, seals, and box labels. I have been pleased with their products so far and thats why we use them across the board for all of our medical devices. They have a wide selection of templates for us to select from, they always pull through on their end with shipments, and payment has never been an issue. Over the phone, their staff has always been wonderful, easy going, and just a pleasure to work with. Pricing is comparable to others out there that we have used such as Avery (which is also a great company to deal with as well).

Again quality, quality product everytime, all the time. Other products don't measure up to 3M products, I have purchase some other brands before, they were either too stick and left residue, or wasn't sticky enough (i.e. hanging adhesive, lint roller)

Strengths: 3M products are the best for offices, schools, you name it. They continue to provide quality product that never seems to fail. it is one of those name brands you want and only want, even down to the lint rollers because I have a dog and must keep my suits hair-free.

Needs to improve: 3M does not need to improve much except for marketing. I understand the brand is well known but I do say they gotta work a little harder on their marketing.

Our company orders a variety of films from 3M to ensure that our packaging processes an inventory management are bulletproof. 3M's product quality has been fantastic to date without any issues. Customer service is always helpful and alerts us if there is flexibility or even promotions incentives. Their quality films provide us the security of knowing that our products are protected so that our lines can do their job and crank out product. Accurate quotes, quick turnaround time and a knowledgeable staff make ordering seamless. Gets the job done and takes one thing off our plate to worry about. Great resource and quality products.

3M always goes out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. They are quick to answer any questions and are full of knowledge on their products. They are a very established and reliable company that I would recommend to anyone. Definitely a great vendor to go through for some reliable quality products with reasonable pricing.

Strengths: 3M's products are very useful not to mention they have a variety of products all in one place so you don't have to order from a bunch of different companies. They have a wide selection and are of great quality. They have products for wound care as well as infection prevention that we tend to use a lot of.

Needs to improve: None.

I've enjoyed most of the products manufactured by 3M, but often hesitate to purchase more than is absolutely necessary because of their price points.

Strengths: They have established themselves as the de facto standard for adhesive products that work, while leaving your surfaces tamper-free. Their products just work, and they work well. Because they have dominated the market, their products are in virtually every store that sells office supplies, including grocery stores.

Needs to improve: Their prices reflect the higher quality of product that consumers require, but often do not want to spend the extra money to afford. Shipping supplies are more competitively priced than wall adhesive products, which can go as has as $15 for a single hook.

We use a lot of velcro in education. Velcro is used for lessons, bulletin boards, communication devices and schedules within the classroom. Velcro is reliable and lasts for a very long time before their effectiveness wears off. The only issue with velcro is cutting long strips of velcro, there's always a sticky residue left on the scissors so we always use a pair of velcro only scissors. An issue that they have attempted to fix by offering velcro in different sizes, shapes and colors.

Strengths: Their velcro is amazing, the strength of 3M. All different types sizes and shapes. Their customer service is awesome, shipping is quick.

Needs to improve: none

Overall, items performed exactly as promised and availability was never an issue. Meeting our already high expectations.

Strengths: Extremely reliable products. Films allowed for packaging small, delicate items without fear of products shifting while being shipped. Adhesive products kept items in place without leaving unwanted and difficult to clean residue. Supply chain was flawless, with replenishment and restocking as promised.

Needs to improve: Sizes. This is particular to our company. Ideally, there would be a wider array of SKUs to include more sizes and measurements for films. We are able to remedy this by cutting available sizes to what we need, but naturally, would prefer for a "perfect" size for our business.

Exceptional products. well established company.

Strengths: 3M adhesives and abrasive products are used by us in a variety of applications. We use 3M sand paper in automotive finish and prep work for auto body repair. Their scotch brand abrasive pads provide rapid stock removal at relatively easy cost. 3M's variety and selection is huge and you can always find what you are looking for. Their line of liquid abrasive products make final paint finishing super easy. Their Finess-it and Perfect-it systems provide swirl free cutting. They have an amazing range of products.

Needs to improve: Sometimes they have such a wide variety of similar products, it is difficult to decide what to use/purchase.

Our rep gave us excellent service and helped explain the various products we were looking for to complete our project. We had some exchanges but those were taken care of by 3M. It was a large project that involved many components. 3M delivered on time and we had no major issues with their service. Please use them for large projects.

Needs to improve: too many items to choose from so we were not sure which were best for our project

We have purchased adhesives as well as first aid kits from 3M. We purchase these in bulk from them as they have excellent prices and make orders very easy and to the point. Their elastics, adhesives, as well as first aid kits are the highest of quality and last for a very long time and can last in stock/storage which make the amount of orders you have to use less which makes your life as the customer much easier, I highly recommend them.

They have great customer service. The products are higher quality then most of their competition. The majority of the products work better then what the company says it will do. Although some do not meet what the company promises.

3M's products are some of the best products out there. The stand by their quality and excellence. Their website is simple and really easy to use. They offer a detailed explanation of every product and have a great return policy in case something doesn't work out. Thank you 3M!

we order many of our Electro Static Discharge equipment from 3M on a regular basis. we keep their wrist straps and cords available to all employees inside of our fastenol vending machines. their ESD equipment is very reliable and we depend on them to keep our dialysis machines static free during our production process on a daily basis. their pricing is fair and shipments are always on time.

I use 3M double sided tape for assembling our front panel screen for our medical machines. It is very easy to use and always on time. Customer service is reliable. The down side in this product is that it does not hold on for a longer time. Once we get our machines from the field, I keep noticing that the tape is starting to peel off.

we order many of their electro status discharge (esd) products regularly and keep a huge stock of their wrist straps, esd wires and connectors, esd lotion, and gloves in our Fastenal vending machine and they are all extremely reliable. they are also a very trustworthy vendor to place orders with.

We use a lot of their ESD products such as lotion, wriststraps and double sided tape to produce medical devices. Their double sided tape are used for our front panel screens and they work really well. The quality of their products definitely meets our requirements of manufacturing specifications. Their customer service Is excellent. They offer a wide selection of products at discounted price because we buy by bulk.
