Documentation with antibodies is stellar with Kd rates and notes to help you get it working fast.

Strengths: Top of the line antibodies for protein detection. We like their monoclonals for everything from westerns to IHC to Chip-seq applications. They don't always have an antibody for the protein you're looking for, but when they do it's got great affinity and works without much tweaking.

Needs to improve: They don't have the variety that another company like Santa Cruz might have, but their quality has been great.

we use Abcam for our assays. almost all monoclonal antibodies are animal based. on their catalog you can order their items by research area which is very convenient. for their products they also check activity, stability and performance so you know you are getting quality products and they use western blot, ICC/IF, IHC, flow cytometry, ELISA, ChIP, IP and peptide array for all their QA.

Strengths: high volume of antibodies/antigens, good dissociation data, research based.

Needs to improve: none

Good service.

Strengths: Nice catalog of antibodies, proteins, antigens. They have good data (dissociation constant Kd, forward and reverse binding rates) for some of their antibodies - very useful when designing detection assays.

Needs to improve: Their prices are a bit steep. You cannot sort their catalog by price.
