Accumold began in a rented garage in 1985. Back then, our focus was to manufacture very small micro sized parts other companies could not produce. It still is. In fact, we believe we are the one of the oldest, if not the oldest micro-molding company that started in micro-molding and stayed there. Our original 1985 Micro-Molder® was designed to manufacture small parts with minimal waste and short cycle times for the electronic component manufacturers. We continue to focus on industries that demand fast turnaround and small, complex parts such as Micro Electronics, Automotive, Fiber/Optic, Medical, and Military, as well as emerging technologies and markets.
Parts like these are typically less than 0.5 cubic inches in volume. To larger molded parts, we add micro-features, such as thin walls, micro-fluid channels, tiny holes, filters, or screens. These parts can be found in items like cell phones, optic devices, surgical tools, hearing aids, medical devices, antennas, connectors and more. Packaging and shipping these tiny parts in lead frames and tape and reel are also our specialties.

Our R&D Engineering has been dealing with Accumold injection molding for micro-mold needs. Their engineering staff has been able to address all of our concerns with respect to: design, materials, process, quality, quoting, delivery times. When you are fighting time constraints it is nice to know there are vendors that are concerned with the bottom line - cost, quality & delivery. Furthermore, Accumold has expects that can address the simple design to complex, they can suggest ways to lower the price - single tools to multiple cavities. Customer service is great and a large reason why we chose them as they kept us informed throughout the entire process, all while offering additional solutions.

Accumold has been great to work with. They have short lead times and always very responsive. We have used them from time to time after prototypes that roll off the assembly line need minor configurations and this is where these guys step in. They do a great job of molding very delicate and hard to get areas, especially for small products. We have been very pleased with Accumold and will continue to use them in the future!

Accumold has done some good work for us lately. They use many medical grade injection molding materials. Highly detailed parts are not difficult for them to manufacture. They deliver on time for the most part had have met all of our specifications. Customer service is easy to deal with. The sales team has years of experience and can offer valuable tips on design to reduce cost.

My company primarily uses Accumold for their micro-molding services. There aren't many companies that have this capability and Accumold is on the cutting edge of this technology. Their customer service is fantastic, and they provide a quality product.

I have used them to mold very small parts with tight tolerances for small volume manufacturing. Their capabilities to inject small parts were impressive as well as their technical expertise. Highly recommend using them for injection molded plastics.
