Ryobi Technologies Inc

I have used Ryobi as one our suppliers in our automotive shop. Our shop is an all inclusive shop that offers a wide range of services such from basic maintenance to custom fabrication of body kits, roll cages, etc. We initially started off using Ryobi because of middle range price point and based off recommendations i have heard from friends. Overall I'm pleased with their products and they get the job done for the most part. If you don't drop your tools alot on the ground, I think Ryobi products will go a long way. However after many uses/drops, and being dropped on, I can see where the difference lies between Ryobi and some of the higher end companies. We have had a couple failures here and there from repetitive use and from dropping. I'd say that these tools are great for house jobs here and there. However if you are someone that relies on the tools and put it through alot of abuse, I'd look elsewhere.

Ryobi supplies the majority of the power tools that we use in our shop and they have been an excellent vendor to deal with on a regular basis. Their power tools are of excellent quality and backed by an awesome warranty that pretty much covers any type of failure as long as you did not purpose try to destroy the tool itself. We have had our power tools serviced by them and they are always quick on getting them back to us so that we do not suffer any down time. Their pricing is extremely competitive and their tools handle a tremendous amount of abuse. I'm surprised that their tools are not more expensive to be honest. I highly recommend them for industrial or regular household consumer work.

a home depot exclusive brand i believe. they are generally cheaper than the other better known brands (dewalt, makita). being cheaper also does mean generally a lower quality. I have used these on a few occasions, and they perform and get the job done. would i get these and expect a lifetime or 10+ years out of it, probably not. but they are priced very well to get the job done. although you can also go to harbor freight and get their house brand if you need a cheap power tool, which might be even cheaper and even lower quality. all your choice on what compromises are to be made.

We came across Ryobi by a chance encounter at a trade show where a sheet metal vendor was raving about the quality of their hand tools. We decided to give them a try with a small sample size, and our tech staff were raving about how easy they were to use and how durable they were. The tools also come with an outstanding warranty. We decided to order additional tools in bulk and have been very pleased. We recommend you to check them out!

We currently use Ryobi power drills in our rework department. We are a medical device manufacturer specializing in dialysis equipment. The Ryobi power drills are very good they have great torque very light weight which makes for easy use. It also has tons of attachments and drill bits. The battery life could be a little better but all in all Ryobi is always my first choice when it comes to power tools. In my opinion Ryobi is in beatable and you won't be disappointed.

although they can improve the battery life, Ryobi Tech has some pretty good quality power drills that I have used in the passed in the lab to assemble and dis assemble my dialysis machines. we use them in the department for a while until upper management decided to upgrade with a higher names company for our power drills. I do think they were some very good quality tools though. They get a B in my book.

Needs to improve: battery life could be better

They used to be our primary drills, until we discovered Makita. Ryboi has a weaker torque and a continuous "click" when the torque settings are low and the power button is held on a tightened screw.

Their power tools are very reliable and have great warranties. I have interacted with their customer service department and they were knowledgeable about all their products and genuinely tried to ensure all my needs would be met. Additionally, Ryobi's products have always been competitively priced. I would recommend them as a vendor to anyone.

My company tried switching to the ryobi hand drills and needless to say we switched back after a week or so. The battery life was not that good.

we use their power drills in my department on a daily basis and they never let us down. the drills are very light weight which is a huge convenience when hold it for long hours while assembling our dialysis machines. they are easy to adjust in case of the need for more torque and the drill bits are easy to swap out. the price rang on their equipment is very fair as well.

We use Ryobi tools on occasion as they offer comparable quality to leading competitors but at a more competitive price point. They have been reliable, durable and performed up to spec. Customer service is always happy to offer insight and with easy access to products, selection and a wide spectrum of choices, Ryobi offers a lot of value for the price. Great team and even better product.

There service is standard, no complaints. Also nothing to compliment.

Strengths: Great quality power tools that last. I use them on my production floor for all my staff. As well as provide Ryobi power tools to all my mobile installers. At first alot of my technicians were not to thrilled when I notified them of switching from a competitors brand. But once they tried them out suddenly the complaints stopped. All my guys are very happy with Ryobi

We tried using these on our production line and we were not to happy with the performance of the power drill. This drill is best suited to be used for light home projects and should be kept off the production floor.

Hope they can make a better product that can compete with makita. They hqve a hood price. Its just the power tool is not what I was hoping for

Strengths: The Ryobi I had was not very good. Did not keep a charge for long and did not have the power I was looking for!

Needs to improve: Make the battery life longer.

We tried their power drills in our assembly line and it was a majority vote to get rid of these. They didn't provide enough power for what we needed. Battery life was not that good either.

Strengths: They make a descent power drill and other manufacturing tools.

Needs to improve: No very powerful didn't really like their drills at all.

I started with Ryobi in my own home, with my new position/title at work, my first plan of action was to stock my crew with Ryobi power tools and we haven't looked back. Ryobi is a high quality power tool backed with a very reliable battery.

We use ryobi power tools at my work. Not the greatest power tools ever but it gets the job done on our assembly line. I use it everyday to build medical devices. Quality is lacking.. needs more power and longer battery life!
