ACME Scales

Over the past 2 weeks, I have called Acme Scale and asked that they send a service technician to my warehouse to repair a scale. I have called 3 times and they just blow me off with a bunch of nonsense as to how busy they are. The lady answering the phone is very rude, inconsiderate and totally not into any level or form of professional customer service at any level. Avoid this company at all cost.

I have used Acme to purchase Chatillon tester. The rep was easy to work with and was responsive whenever we asked for an order status. Also, being an authorized distributor, they provide calibration services so it takes away the hassle of needing to manage multiple vendors to support the system. I'd recommend Acme if you're looking for purchasing as well as maintaining Chatillon testers. The prices could be better, but the convenience and service is worth it.

I have ordered Chatillon Force gauges from ACME. They are local to our company so shipping was fast and relatively cheap. The sales person that took my order explained what equipment they had and gave me accurate pricing and availability. They accept POs as well as major credit cards as payment. They are well stocked in various equipment and a good source for startup companies.

We purchased a Chatillon load frame and some load cells rather than going all the way with an Instron or MTS. We opted out of the software for the frame, and just used the data acquisition from the load cells themselves. We were able to get the cells to communicate with the frame to prevent over-load conditions, but it a somewhat limited testing solution.

I bought a load frame from them to use with a force gauge. The load frame had a small footprint which was very nice because of limited bench top area. The load frame came in on time and the force gauge attached to it easily and everything worked great as a system.

We purchased a Chatillon load frame and handheld load cells from Acme. The system was not nearly as capable as Instron or MTS systems, but it worked fine for our catheter and pouch tensile testing needs. The Ohaus scale was solid as well.

If you're looking for Chatillon support, I highly recommend them.

I purchased two Chatillon force gauge testers from Empire. The sales staff was courteous and very helpful. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast
