We use Astro crimpers in our lab for crimping hypotubes. The crimpers are very well made and easy to use. It's a bit pricey but you get your moneys worth. Staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Best crimpers around. The crimpers make perfect 8 indent crimps everytime, and the handle is cycle controlled so you know each crimp is fully formed. That makes exactly 1 process that I don't have to worry about.

We use the Hypo tube crimping tool in production and R&D area. It's easy to use and don't create any adverse affect like the soldering process (additional cleaning process, and potential corrosion).

I used their star crimp tool on a small Id hypo tube to create a stop and it worked great. very repeatable. They are a smaller company and the service was excellent.

I had only use their crimpers. They do good job in joinning hypotubes together. They also are good for joining hypotubes to corewires. Durable enough for production environments, accurate enough to maintain tight specification
