Founded in 1914, Bead Industries developed and manufactured Bead Chain® for electric light pulls. Bead Chain® grew exponentially and continues to be a staple in the vertical blind, ceiling fan light, and marine industries we know today. Other uses include attaching commercial shower curtains, securing bank pens, inside toilets and other plumbing fixtures, key chains for dog tags, and many more products. Using the same innovative metal-working process, Bead Industries fabricated products for the electronics market in the mid-1920s. Our second division, Bead Electronics, was born and we now manufacture precision continuous reeled, solid-wire, and tubular contact pins for the telecom, automotive, connector, and lighting industries all right here in Milford, CT, USA. These custom components deliver the performance of machined pins at the price of stamped and can be tooled in a fraction of the time.
