They were extremely responsive to our questions and able to answer them in a timely manner. They were friendly yet professional. They were knowledgeable about their products and able to find cost effective solutions for us. They provided fast shipping with a smile. The products we received were all high quality and durable. We currently are using tyco's compact flash connectors and memory stick connectors in our Medical devices. If your looking for an affordable quality connectors then I highly recommend tyco electronics. Along with great customer service they also have delivered early or right in time.

Needs to improve: I have been dealing with tyco for the past 4 yrs now and I have never had any kind of problems or setbacks with their electronic components and card products.

Our engineering and production departments use Tyco components on our back panels in our cabinet assemblies and on our PCBs on our desktop systems. They have a large selection of components such as: sockets, connectors (male & females), cables, fiber optics, input/output (IO), membrane switches, etc... Their sales staff is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and responds quickly to inquiries; email and phone and provided us with technical data, samples and quotes.

Our designers and engineers often use Tyco for wire, cable, and harness products, as well as optics products and they are very satsified with them. I think they are now known as TE. They have a wide selection of components and a highly knowlegeble sevice to help with system requirements and best products for the job. AS they have a selection of a wide range of products, would definitely consider moving some of our other sourcing from other vendors to TE

we carry a huge amount of their memory sticks that we use to save data for our dialysis treatments for prototype patients when running our accelerated stress tests and also to our customers to keep track of their data and treatments. these memory sticks help us see how efficiently our dialysis treatment is working before our machines are released to our customers.

They have supplied USB memory stick connectors as well as memory card connectors for our capital equipment product. In the years I have support capital equipment, I have not seen any issues from the components. They were reliable and the supply was consistent. Lead times were longer than most of our suppliers, so had to plan ahead more accordingly. They are one of the industry standards for electronic components so can trust their quality.

TE supplied our company with panel plugin relays for use in our panel board builds. They offer a wide variety of switches and relays and with the help of their customer service team, we had no problem choosing one that was suitable for our application. Our company use the Heat Shrink Tubing from Tyco Raychem. The Polyolefin heat shrink tubing is cheap and provide in large spool. Also their local sale prep are very nice and friendly when request for samples of different heat shrink tubes for process development.
