We have 9 large dedicated servers at codero. We left our previous hosting provided due to frequent server farm infrastructure issues, including a number of electrical failures and even one small but rapidly contained fire. Seems the old host routinely had "routing" issues that made our servers appear down. Moved to Codero (At the time called A-Plus) when their data center was in San Diego. When A-Plus split off, taking the shared hosting side of the business, Codero was created to focus on dedicated servers. This side of the business was moved to Phoenix. Just about a server administrators worst nightmare. Not just moving servers to a new datacenter, but one hundreds of miles away. Codero did a great job of managing the unplug, load servers into trucks, move across the mountains and plug back in with just a few hours (travel time plist 3 hours) of down time.
Even though the downtime was relatively short, it came at a very busy time for us and we could not tolerate hours of no access. Codero orchestrated an over the wire transfer of our servers, They set up totally new hardware in Phoenix, migrated the servers over the internet instead of by truck, and our users saw only about 1 minute of no access.
In another instance we had intrusion due to a system vulnerability. Technical support help us find and remove the infestation even though our servers are self maintained. I have always found the ready to go above and beyond the minimum.
We have found the dedicated server pricing to be very competitive and have not really found another vendor with lower prices. Especially with the level of service provided by codero

We contract Codero to handle all of our server related issues. They provide us with secure hosting and manage any additional scale in capacity loads needed. Great customer service as their team is well informed on how to address any potential issues should they come up. So far, nothing has happened to date and our IT needs have been met. Quality team with a reliable product. Will refer and happy to continue our contract.
