I moved our packaging related testing to DDL after a competing vendor missed a date, and removed our accelerated aging units from the chamber a couple weeks too early. While DDL was not local, the extra cost and hassle from shipping my shipping test units were well worth it. The team at DDL really understands the intention of the standards, as well as the letter of the law and helped us to formulate a robust test plan to ensure our sterile product remained sterile after aging and distribution. I would highly recommend DDL and will use them again.

ddl offers an extensive variety of packaging tests for packaging validation. they also offer heat chambers to perform accelerated shelf life conditioning. for the most part, they don’t perform anything special or out of the ordinary. they do get the job done, but there’s nothing that makes me go back to them other than location and convenience.

They have variety of packaging tests for packaging validation. they also offer heat chambers to perform accelerated shelf life conditioning. Testing and data are reliable and easy to communicate with the customer service. Only thing is take a while to get back the report and off course they want to be thorough and precise on the report.

Excellent resource for packaging/product testing. They can provide advice to help plan the battery of testing, then perform any accelerated aging, any desired transporation simulation and finally the sterile barrier verification.

Strengths: Quality packaging and distribution testing vendor with experience in the medical device field. They can do all of ASTM4169 plus applicable pouch testing.

Needs to improve: not so close to the bay area.

Requests for quotes and help in interpreting standards is a great help. It's always been a good experience when dealing with DDL.

Strengths: They're responsive, always meet deadlines and their staff is friendly.

Needs to improve: They tend to steer away from giving too much guidance when problems occur but I would imagine it also helps limit their liability in a project.

I used to test some very large water system components. We were having a lot of problems because of the size and weight of the item. Thanks to DDL we were able to tackle the problem and validate the packaging very quickly. Top notch!

This company is fast to quote and has a very knowledgeable staff. Their prices can be quoted just slightly high compared to some other testing services, but overall it's a great company.

I have used them for numerous simulated distribution services and have always experienced exceptional customer service. They also have performed packaging testing. I appreciate the follow-up and communication throughout the testing process. The reports are detailed and thorough.

I worked with DDL to complete ISO 594 testing. They were quick and provide a very thorough report. Working with them was much more affordable than purchasing the Gage's and equipment to complete the testing in house.
