Dymax

Dymax is our main supplier for adhesive for our detachable stents. We have worked with them closely on perfecting the right type of adhesive for our purpose and they have been great to work with so far. At the beginning we were having difficulty creating the right balance of strength and detachability but we were able to work through our problems relatively quick in comparison to other adhesive companies that we have tried in the past. Their pricing is fair and they come relatively quick. Performance is great and we have had no issues with in house QC. Customer service is great and they always make sure that all of our questions are answered. Fantastic adhesive and we will most likely use their adhesives for other medical devices that we plan to make in the future.

we use one line of dymax adhesive on our product, and i was looking to expand our use with them for a new project, but ultimately did not go with them since i couldn’t get additional information to make the decision. i contacted their sales rep, told them we were existing customers and were looking to use their product on another project and they only sent me general information on their product line, but nothing specific. seemed like they were pretty busy or maybe we just weren’t big enough customers. ended up using loctite instead.

though they have good adhesive products, their reps are not that great. we get general information but nothing of much use outside of that. They seemed like they were better than the customer and unwilling to help find a better solution or product for us.

my experience with Dymax is awesome. We recently reached out to them with some of our services and requests. We had an unusual custom order we had to purchase and wasn't sure if they were ok with our request. They had no problem with our order and the adhesive we have received was better than I thought it was going to be! It has helped us with our assembly line and we appreciate their hard work with us.

Our firm uses Dymax adhesives in order to manufacture our medical device prototypes and their products are fantastic. They are very easy to order from and their products are very east to use. I have interfaced with their customer service department and they have also been very helpful in getting me the exact product to meet our firm's needs. We have used Dymax adhesives and coating in our electronic assembly process for small lamp builds. They offer a wide variety so finding the right type of adhesive for our buildout was not an issue. We also took advantage of their online sample form which helped save both time and money. We are likely to use Dymax in the future because of their innovative products and their technical support team. Definitely recommend this vendor.

My company uses DYMAX adhesives at our construction sites. They are very easy to order from and their products are very east to use. I have chatted with their customer service department on multiple occasions and they have always been knowledgeable and polite. They also have quick turn around times which help on those occasion where inventory is not kept up to par at the sites. Would recommend others try their products.

We order UV adhesives from DYMAX on a regular basis. They carry a huge array of adhesives with varying viscosities and formulations. Customer service can be better...they seem to not be as responsive to returning calls and are slow to provide quotations. Not sure what is going on over at Dymax but we do use their products on a daily basis.

Reasonable pricing on specialized products you can't find in many other places and have reliable shipping prices. This company has a large selection of adhesives to go along with their UV curing equipment. The staff is willing to work with you to find a solution to fit your needs. They are a great vendor to work with.

Dymax is the industry standard for UV adhesive and light curing system. I had use Dymax UV adhesive for catheter assembly throughout my career. Dymax UV adhesive is fast curing, less messy and stable process for bonding strength. Also the EFD dispenser and light cure system are so easy to use in production and R&D work. Great production for bonding plastic/metal component in the catheter assembly.

Whe you manufacture medical devices you need to be able to rely on the components that go in and on the products. This vendor is dependable and we like working with the customer service group.

Dymax is an appropriate UV adhesive supplier during the prototype phase. However, their equipment is simple and without fine tuning controls, which are necessary to produce consistent and predictable product. Nonetheless, their adhesives work well and the wide range of durometers has been helpful in catheter manufacturing, especially the lower durometers for flexible portions.

The Dymax Company Staff were very friendly and helpful. They communicated well about their product and overall had great customer service. Dymax glue is unique as far as the quality of the product. I love how It is water and heat resistant and the way it dries a natural color that blends great. Its incredibly strong and easy to use as well.

For nearly 20 years I have used Dymax UV curable adhesives for medical device applications. Their staff is knowledgeable and very helpul in identifying the appropriate adhesive for the situation.

Dymax makes decent adhesives. Both UV and Cyanoacrylate. In the past I've experienced lot to lot variability, where cure time and UV power needed to be different for two different lots. Customer Service was slow to acknowledge there was an issue. Recently it appears their quality has improved.

Dymax is a leader in the adhesive market. We currently use their epoxy resin as part of our assembly procedure. We apply this resin to the underside of our rubber diaphragms during installation, this helps make a airtight seal to the pump manifold. Excellent product.
