We typically use EIS to source soldering materials while they do provide a full variety of equipment, tools and cleaning solutions. While they offer good value for material, we typically go elsewhere for the actual equipment. But, since we've purchased from EIS, we haven't had any issues and all of the customer service reps have been a delight irregardless of issue. Would happy to refer and will continue to do business with.

EIS has supplied soldering material and flux cleaning solutions for manufacturing, as well as soldering equipment and hand tools. They represent the standard soldering manufacturers such as Kester, Weller. However, they are limited in their selection of electronic products components, and end up using McMaster, RS Hughes, for soldering equipment, as they are more competitively priced, but EIS is a great supplier for solder material and flux removal agents.

I have purchased for the manufacturing group many Edsyn soldering units for our manufacturing processes. These units are always working and never give the users any bad soldering.

Strengths: The company has good quality soldering units

Needs to improve: The soldering supplies can be expensive compared to other vendors

EIS has a solid product listing of soldering equipments and tools. They also have a decent selection of electronic products and components. A little on the pricer side but an overall solid supplier.
