We have been using Evans analytical group for material, electrical, and reliability testing. We have also on a number of occassions consulted them for help using their SEM. They provide excellent quality service in a timely manner. Their analysis reports are adequate for regulatory use and they have provided suggestions for us when we needed additional help. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Pricing is fair. Their reports return quickly and they can be counted on when you are in a bind.

We use Evans Analytical when ever we need help with failure analysis. We recently used them to help us the root cause for failures we were having with one of our flex circuits. Not only did they find the problem but they were also able to work with us to make the necessary design and process changes to fix the problem.

Strengths: Evans Analytical provides outstanding failure analysis services to the medical device industry. Their areas of expertise include FTIR, SEM, X-ray photoelectron, TOF-SIMS and thermal analysis.

Needs to improve: Very costly

We contract our failure analysis and data testing to Evans Analytical. We were having issues during our assembly and wanted to see why we were losing so much on the back end. Their expert staff was able to diagnose our issue so that we were up and efficient again. Quality customer service and follow up. Able to offer a variety of solutions that were cost effective. Solid company backed by a solid team.

It has been always a good solid experience with EAG. The staff has consistently been friendly and knowledgeable of my needs.
They definitely are experts in their areas, so i have confidence in the data and results we generally come to when working with their team.

evans analytical group is a large materials testing and chemical analysis laboratory. they are staffed with knowledgeable and well versed scientists and engineers who provide quality analysis and detailed reports. their services are costly but they perform a thorough job. they can also perform services quickly for an expedite fee.

They offer a range of material analysis tests that are helpful during failure analysis or for general prototype characterization. The staff is well-educated in the strengths and limitation of each type of test and can offer help as to choosing which method would be the best for a particular issue.

i have used them a few times for some analytical work on SEM and FTIR for some testing we had to do for some components. I found their staff very helpful and intelligent. The services were well worth the cost and I would use them again next time.

i have used them on multiple occasions for some chemical analysis testing (ie. FTIR, etc.) the group is very bright and very helpful. highly recommended. they are pretty expensive, but the quality of service and results for something as complex as they offer is well worth it

Evans is one of our go to places for failure analysis service. They are very helpful and very attentive to customer needs. Staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This service is not cheap.

Strengths: I believe Evans was the only one available local who could perform FTIR on a specimen to determine the composition of a specific polymer. They are very professional and detailed oriented.

I've used Evans to get a material composition analysis. They are proficient at what they do, but you certainly pay for the service.

They are a large company so scheduling can be tough, but they offer all the material analysis services you may need for characterization and analysis.
