Fluke Corporation

We used Fluke for reading temperature using thermocouples. They were the workhorse in our lab for measuring ambient temperature and water temperature. Being in medical devices, we always had to have them calibrated. We never had one come back out of calibration which is always a great sign. I gave them only 3 stars for quality because we did have some issue with the plug for the thermocouples wearing and giving loose connections. This made it easy to pull out the thermocouple unintentionally.

For battery life, they seemed to go forever. The downside, I don't remember there was adequate warning when a battery was getting low. Many times we were scrambling around the lab to find another meter or a 9v battery.

Strengths: Accurate readings that were never out of calibration

Needs to improve: Plug area can wear. Also, need way to know battery is low.

Fluke pays on time and initially communicates fairly well on email. Their second email responses are really slow. Does not acknowledge some of the questions right away. Again, Initial emails are quick and to the point. I suppose, they answer emails based on what they want. If there is a conflict or question, they are very slow to respond.

Strengths: Fluke has accurate accounting and billing. Payments are also on time.

Needs to improve: Fluke is such a large corporation that the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing. Inner company structure could use some work. Email communications are fine, but their Fax documents needs to go away. Half the time, the faxes don't go through. Accounting and Buyers need to work together a little better.

Our company orders a lot of Fluke Biomedical multimeters & thermometers: Fluke 179 & 52II for our on going tests in our labs; R&D, CSI and reliability. Their multimeters and thermometers are highly used in indusrty today due to: quality, reliablity, duaability, etc... The readings taken throughout our testing is always accurate for temperature specifically. Their website / internal sales / engineering force is happy to take you through every step of the process, so as to ensure you get the correct product specifications / equipment to meet your requirements. They have competitive prices, high quality, fast delivery, and great customer support - cannot go wrong with their products.

We have been using Fluke corporation for oscilloscopes for testing for our assembly line and have had great success using their products. They have a wide variety of electrical testing equipment to select from for almost any purpose. Their products are of high quality and are easy to use. Their customer staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. They are willing to spend the time with you to answer questions. Pricing is fair but a great value for the type of quality that you are getting. We have been using them for years and I have no reservations recommending them to others. We will continue to use them for years.

Like I said previously, their customer service is top notch. I am very pleased with their quick communication and the delivery of their products. If there was a failure with a product, they were quick to respond to our needs with a replacement.

Strengths: Fluke Biomedical electrical parts and components are widely used in our company. Their products are competitively priced and made of the highest quality. We have strict tests for devices and all of Fluke Medical's pass. The customer service team is knowledgeable and proficient with all of their products. They make solid recommendations with plenty of options to meet our budget. I plan on making them a trusted vendor for many years to come.

Our firm ordered a couple electrical testers from Fluke Corporation to ensure our voltage and continuity were at optimal levels and these devices have been lifesavers. By using the tester, we found that one of our main electrical throughput areas was not getting the correct power it needed and thus not running efficiently. We were able to adjust based on the electrical tester and we were able to produce much more. Fluke makes ordering easy as their customer service department walks you through their various products and let us know which one would work best. Great vendor, we will be ordering again!

Fluke Corporation builds products that will last you for many many years. I bought my first multimeter for $350 from Fluke back in the early 90's and it still sits in my toolbox today. What better recommendation do you need?

Strengths: Fluke manufactures a wide selection of electrical measurement tools. Their products are made of quality materials, excellent design and offer years of dependable service.

Needs to improve: Fluke instruments are some of the highest priced products in it's class. If you're looking for a simple volt meter, you might be better off buying a cheapy off brand multimeter vs. a Fluke Brand multimeter.

Fluke tools help our company from industrial electronic installation, maintenance and service, to precision measurement and quality control. One of their product that we use is 1586A Super-DAQ. For us it is the most accurate and flexible temperature data acquisition system of all the product that we used before.It scans and records temperature, DC voltage, DC current, and resistance for up to 40 input channels and scan speeds as fast as 10 channels per second. The Super-DAQ can be configured for use as precision reference thermometer.

I currently use their brand of multimeter and thermometers on a daily. These two pieces of equipment are essential to any lab that is heavily involved in testing and troubleshooting. They are very easy to use and well built we have had the same meters for the past 4 yrs and these things still perform to the highest degree. Battery life is superb as well

Strengths: Fluke carries some of the best multimeters and thermometers. You can't go wrong with Fluke always spot on.

Needs to improve: No much to complain about they make good products.

I use these kind of multimeters for calibrating and measuring the flow of the electricity of our medical machines. The results are accurate and easy to read. Does not fail and built to last quality multimeters as well as good customer service and always on time when we needed it for our dialysis machines. The only issues I could think of is the price which is very expensive.

I have used fluke multimeters, oscilloscopes, electrical/hot wire testers at work my entire career and also at home for personal use doing electrical work around the house. The quality and reliability of their products are unrivaled. They are generally pricier than other lower quality products out there that you can get for the fraction of the cost of a fluke device. But for professional work, you can't beat what fluke has.

We have procured various electrical equipment including power supplies, heavy duty outlets, and circuits from Fluke Corp in the past. The Fluke meter is the standard for multi meters. They are in every tool box in our lab. The provide trouble free readings time after time year after year. They are not cheap but if you find the one you are looking for make sure you are not getting to many bells and whistles you can get the price down a little bit.

Strengths: Our company utilizes Fluke Biomedical electrical parts and components in many of our medical devices. We also utilize their medical instruments in our calibration process. Their products pass our high quality inspection testing and are reasonably priced. The customer service team is collaborative and recommends parts based on our needs and was able to assist in saving our company time and money. I would definitely recommend this company for any biomedical components your company may need.

We use their mult-meters at work to measure DC, AC, and Ohm readings. There's a small kilo symbol next to the readings that took me a while to notice, luckily I don't use it everyday. In the two years I've worked with it I've never seen the battery die.

We have purchased a few of the ESA609 Electrical Safety Analyzer for testing and verificatrion of electrical current for our coil release system box that pulsates an electrical current through a wire and ultimately to the coil for release into the vessel or aneurysm. The R&D lad utilizes one for their product development efforts of new release boxes/devices.
