We use their nitinol wire on a daily basis and rely on their consistency and quality. They may not be as nimble and speedy as we'd like, but they deliver excellent quality and are willing to work with us on all issues and R&D projects. The best in the way of nitinol wire in my opinion.

They have good sale personal to work with when we ordered wires with different temper and hardness. They are knowledgeable and provide good advise on material section and wire hardness.

I have purchased Nitinol and stainless steel wire in a wide variety of sizes and shapes from Fort Wayne. It has always been top quality. I have also made several purchases of their DFT wire (Niti over Pt core) to great effect. Highly recommended for quality of product and service.

Strengths: reliable source for raw material metals for our consumer electronics manufacturing. The products are of high quality and very durable. The customer service department is also very knowledgeable and courteous. One thing that may cause an issue is the minimum spend you need to get certain items, which can hinder small businesses.

FWM are experts in stainless steel and nitinol wire. They are my first stop for anything mildly challenging (complicated cross-sections, drawn filled tube, small diameters, etc.) FWM has consistently helped guide my application and then provided high quality wire over and over again. Highly recommended.

Fort Wayne is good source for Nitinol Wire, SS Wire and Braided Cables. They can provide you nitinol wire in a range of Af's and formulations. Their fine wire braided cables are extremely flexible yet strong.

Forty Wayne wires have great strength and tolerance. They are awesome in keeping and maintaining consistency over quality products. Large orders are cheap but small orders are costly.

When ordering from FW, you can trust that the product you receive will meet specifications with minimal lot to lot variation. However, their lead times can be extremely long depending on tolerances and quantity.
Strengths: NiTi, SS Tubing

Consistently order various nitinol, stainless and platinum wires from them. Expect a long lead time, but in the end, you will get exactly what you ordered. Very high in quality.

FWM has been around a long time and that experience translates into great products. Their custom wire drawing services are excellent and always on time. FWM is my first choice for custom wire!

FWM makes some excellent products. I regularly use nitinol wire supplied by fort wayne. their quality is exceptional. Plan accordingly for custom products for lead times.
