These kits are a life saver sometimes. The HeliCoil Thread Repair Kits are used for creating stronger internal threads in all metals, composites, polymers and other materials by repairing damaged or stripped internal threads and regaining the original thread size. We currently use these kits in our assembly line and in our rework department they are life savers. HeliCoil Professional Thread Repair Kits include everything required to do the job right – good number of inserts each of 3 lengths (short, medium & long) for multiple applications, HSS drill bit ,Finishing tap, installation tool and tang breaking tool , all in one kit. These kits are available in metric range from M2 to M12 and in UNC/UNF range "4-40 to 1/2” which is great.

I have used Helicoil products for the last 30 years at various companies. The Helicoil has saved our bacon during our assembly process when someone stripped or damaged a treaded hole, Helicol has quality tool and kits to handle any issue the arises. In addition, Dodge Inserts of the highest quality and offer a large range to address any needs that arise for fastening inserts. Their line consists of Ultraserts, Mini Inserts, threaded Inserts, etc... Have always specified them in our molded parts due to the reliability, quality and dependability. Their customer service reps are knowledgeable of their products lines and can direct R&D Engineering to the correct Insert per each application.

Good quality products, for a good price, with a wide selection to choose from,we are able to submit large quantity orders without any issues, we get accurate quotes and our orders are always delivered in time, they're never late. They provide hardware screws for our catheters. They are able to tailor to custom sizes to suit your needs. They hold very extremely tight tolerances and we have not had any issues with meeting our inspection requirements on our end. Pricing is very fair and their staff is very knowledgable. They produce a quality product and we have not had any issues with reliabilitiy or durability in the field. I have no reservations recommending them as a company to work with as well as the products that they provide.

As a small electronics integrator, our startup sources raw materials and fasteners from Helicoil. They offer a wide product selection and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. I haven't experienced any issues but I can imagine they will be quickly addressed. Lead time is always accurate, which is a huge incentive for us. As experienced using Helicoil, the first thing i can say is that they have a very accommodating and well knowledgeable customer service. The quality and service of their product is excellent. Heli-coil inserts are precision formed screw thread coils of stainless. Heli-Coil inserts are renowned as The Original wire thread insert that are incorporated in softer metallic materials to give them steel like thread performance.

Strengths: We purchase their pipe threading tools, such as taps or dies that manufacture tight seals. Also they have a wide range of cutting tools that produce smooth, clean cuts and accommodate any hole diameter that is required. They are very easy to use. Helicoil Insert are significant help for tooling and fixture that we use in production made out plastic such as Delrin and ABS. Worst case scenario that we only place the Helicoil insert if the thread are busted during our maintenance procedure. Without the Helicoil then we have to re fabricate the new part or components as replacement. Good product and it performed as intended.
