I've used Hydromer Inc's coatings for 6+ years. Originally, we'd ship our products to hydromer and have them coat them at their facility. The results were mixed. Although the quality of their coatings are great, it seems their coating methods and fixtures are sort of crude. Our products would routinely be damaged during these transfers. After a couple of experiments we realized that our products were being damaged as part of the coating process. Hydromer was extremely helpful while we investigated the cause of the issues we were having and they were even willing to listen to us and see how they could improve their own processes to prevent this type of damage from occurring.

Eventually we decided to develop our own coating process and use Hydromer's coating solutions which turned out to be great. We still do business with Hydromer, I still consider them to be a good company, just beware of what you're asking them to do for your company.

Strengths: Hydromer produces quality coatings for catheter/balloons that are effective and cost effective.

Needs to improve: Fixturing and tooling setups used at hydromer can be crude. If contracting hydromer to physically coat your product be sure to perform inspections before and after to very your product isn't being damaged during coating.

Our experience with Hydromer has been a positive experience. The coating that Hydromer provides is noticeably better than any of the vendors we were looking at. For this, we were happy to choose Hydromer as our exclusive vendor. Customer service has been excellent throughout this entire process. They were happy to accomodate us with any late minute requests and information.

Strengths: Hydromer has been a trusted vendor of ours for several months now. They have provided coatings for catherters we manufacture. Our account rep provided some samples and we were hooked instantly. The quality of these coatings were superior to the competitors. Customer service was excellent and the purchasing process was easy. Shipping was fast and arrived on time.

Hydromer Inc provided some coating for our medical devices and it came out terrific. Their initial call with the customer service group was a precursor of good things to come as they provided us all the information we needed and guided us to the best products for our needs. Their prices were very fair and the delivery of the products were very quick. We were pleased with the professional service and the results. To date, we have not had any issues with the coating and our firm plans to continue using Hydromer whenever we need to process our devices. Solid vendor, definitely recommend.

We contracted Hydromer Inc for coating our medical devices. We were referred to them by some colleagues of ours and was pleasantly surprised by their competitive pricing and quick turnaround time. We needed to get our devices coated in a short time frame and they were accommodating to our needs. We appreciated how helpful they were. The coating was very high quality. It came out perfectly. Overall we've had a great experience working with them and will continue to work with them in the future. Highly recommend them to others.

The medical office has loved the product from Hydromer inc, they have never had major issues in the past with them. They continue to stand by their word and release great product. We have had a lot of blood clot procedure, and their product makes surgery go a lot easier and smoother. Thanks!

Strengths: price is very reasonable- has been in the business for a while, and has great customer service. Ships very fast and comes very well packaged.

Needs to improve: The website has some cleaning up to do. Looks very out dated. Very hard to navigate at some point.

We order our catheter supplies from hydromer. They have a very quick turnaround and the shipping is good. Everything is packaged well. They are a great company with a superior products. You can't beat the price either. Top quality and top notch products!

Typically we use Hydromer for our water sports products, however our R&D dept have been testing out their anti fog coatings for new consumer products. For us and those products we use, it all works. The pricing is reasonable and their products just work. We just started working with them on the coatings so we can't comment on durability just yet, but from what we have seen that should not be an issue. Good company

Our office has been going through Hyrdromer for a while now and we have never ran into any issues. They have been our primary source for our catheter coatings.
